Mom and Pop shops would be at a significant disadvantage compared to government run and funded LP shops. There are too many holes and intangibles in Bill Blairs plan and we are almost 3 years into this. Wouldn’t be surprised to see this promise postponed till after the 2019 election. The old bait and switch is all the liberals have left.

Carry stock that emphasizes the CBD content rather than the THC, and folks in genuine need will flock to your store. Severe chronic pain, insomnia, brain conditions, PTSD, depression, anxiety, the ravages of chemotherapy; these ailments can be controlled with the right CBD products. THC is what causes the "high". CBD is medicine.

The stench of that smell lingers in the air and it will change the neighborhoods in which they set up shop. Traffic increases in the area. Many small shops are repeatedly broken in to, people closing shop for the night carry guns for protection….the landscape of your cities will change forever. This is what has happened to the once beautiful and livable Colorado.

CBC pushing insider penny stock weed scammers and BS hype so average Canadians can throw away their savings on a product that is already abundant and cheap. Once people start losing their licenses for smelling like pot stuff will get interesting.

It’s not uncertainty about consumer needs that’s the problem, but rather an unwillingness and an inability to meet it. The government is suggesting Prohibition 2.0.

  20. debbie hanisch on December 6, 2020 at 10:17 pm

Not in Ontario. Communists are taking control.

Gee we already have small retail Cannabis stores out there – she is not inventing a business or reinventing the wheel. Talk to any Free Market dispensary owner and you could find out so much more info. There is a baseline, the industry has been going for decades, the government thinks they can control an existing 6B$$ industry and that it will just disappear?!? Wow the misunderstanding and misinformation from people that have never experienced pot themselves is disheartening. But they are the first ones in line to profit from this peaceful plant….

  22. jabbar kazmi on December 6, 2020 at 10:20 pm

  23. 987 Chicago on December 6, 2020 at 10:21 pm

Need a bullet proof glass and only open during the day so u won’t get robbed! You lost money before you even make one!

  25. Josh Lockie on December 6, 2020 at 10:26 pm

I will never buy my cannabis from the government

  26. Ed A on December 6, 2020 at 10:26 pm

The gov’t will control it all, and only the corrupt and connected like Julian Fantino will profit. What a dirt bag, Fantino is. When he was chief of police he compared legalizing weed to legalizing murder. Now he is going to make millions being one of the very few pot dealers approved by our government.
