Jamaica’s first medicinal marijuana company, Medicanja, launched this year against a backdrop of reinvigorated debate around ganja law reform among leading policymakers. The renowned Jamaican scientist Dr. Henry Lowe, a leader in THC studies for medical purposes, is running the company with the University of West Indies and the University of Technology jointly funding the facility. In addition to studying the scientific benefits of marijuana, Dr. Lowe says the company will produce CBD-based medical products, which fall under legally accepted medicinal use of the ganja plant. Lowe says the plant extract can be used to treat psychosis and severe pain, as well as mid-life crises in men.

Love
Ayo man is spitting hit at the start
MAN ILL PAY 100 BUCKS FOR THAT BAG OF BUSH ALL DAY LONG
The guy singing "the herb" song. He’s in rhe wrong trade..he needs to be a singer for real!
You know how autonomous a country is when they only start having the balls to pass a bill after their overlords did.
Really stupid not to legalize it.
I have 15 years smoking is time to stop, if you are starting, leave it! You are in time…
I sense this man is a batibwoy, not that I have anything against gay people I love everyone equally but Jamaicans are extremely homophobic from what I’ve seen and noticed on my trips to jamaica. no acceptance for chichiman/bwoy.
Don’t kill the herbs
You in for some coke, weeds, blueberry, kush and more check out *imjoker12 on wickr* I got some stuff from him
Decriminalisation of ganja for personal use, medical use and for my use

That other minister who is against legalizing, he is a corrupt minister paid by the west. Simple.
don’t get why Americans just wouldn’t grow actual good weed indoors and not get it from across the world where it’s grown outdoors and is not nearly as strong as the indoor
High rn Rastafariiiiii
money money money .. Hippocrates!
ganja = bad
money = GOOD !
WTF
That guy at 3:25 really had no idea what he was fighting for. I hope those people who have not had ganja yet should do their own thing whether they want to smoke it or not, but to say that someone else cannot use a plant really shows how far we have come yet also how draconian these peoples thought processes are. In the 20th century we should be allowed as adult and people to smoke or drink as long as we aren’t destroying ourselves.
Someone make a beat for that intro
Selassie was an orthodox christian. He never thought of himself as a big person. His followers made him big. I dont respect this movement.
Let us grow let us smoke let is make a living NOW
It really is the best diplomacy. "I am here to check out your weed, I braught weed"
Similar to how to invade N. Korea. Don’t do it with tanks, and soldiers. Do it with food trucks, and some frickin infrastructure. Bring a full blown parade in. Bring in a bigger celebration than these people have ever even imagined…..you don’t shoot a guy that’s giving out free taco’s….you just don’t…It’s like a natural law
What’s the name of the little song they’re singing at the 6:00 mark? I’d love to know lol, those are absolute bars fam.
Only came here to show some friends the intro song!!
people look to enjoy themselves, great.
cultivate marijuana. destroy the cigarette factory.
The majority of murders, domestic violence, and accidents are caused by alcohol. Someone can die from drinking liquor. Marijuana Zero Violence and those who smoke it are the most fun and peaceful people I have ever met. The system is killing the community with alcohol and cigarettes but prohibits a natural medicinal plant. No wonder the DEA had to remove all the lies that were told on the official government website. Every plant is good and helps the human body and mind, while alcohol stuns people. I have never seen someone fall to the ground from smoking too much marijuana, but I have seen the damage that liquor and tobacco does to people.
HERB SCARCE ME CYAN GET NONE – need that on itunes asap
Lotta colonialist roots in cannabis prohibition, more so when the majority of the population are people of colour as it aims to impede the economic prosperity and freedom.
His singing at the start was actually really good

The lyrics in the intro,.. Noice .
5.57 i need to know the rap song ?? pls
I spent 3 months in the hills of Westmorlan in 1988 and the herb that I smoked daily was all Sensi strains and it was some of the nicest that I’ve ever smoked . The soil is very rich in nutrients and more fruit and vegetables grow wild in the bush per acre than anywhere else on earth .Its part of the Jamaican culture and the people of Jamaica would definitely benefit economically from the legalization of it ! Just like Peter Tosh sang “Legalize It “ Don’t Criticize It !
There is clear evidence that ganja affects the brains of for-profit mulitnational corporate whores.
Its only weed ffs. Smoke it down and STFU!
I don’t watch the documentary often, I keep coming back for the song in the beginning
