Cannabis Cowboys: Behind the Scenes at a Marijuana Raid

In 2009, “SoCal Connected” embedded with a marijuana eradication team in the San Bernardino Mountains to discuss the problem of illegal grow sites. The problem persists. We’re reairing a version of the segment again, while exploring the continuing issues on the website.

When it comes to illegal marijuana grow sites in national parks, Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks had the worst problem. Now? Not so much. Over the past two years, rangers have not discovered a single plant, a drastic difference over the previous decade.

I hope you stub your toe, while your avoiding actual, real crimes that are happening as I type this. Legalize, like the entire world (except self-congratulating law enforcers) populous, knows is the only real option for eliminating ANY more income, flowing to the drug cartels. The tax income alone, would help to fill the coffers of an already struggling county budget near you. The longer you pretend to be helping everybody but yourselves, the harder it is to convince our children to believe that you all are putting on those boots & that uniform to truly do as your creed suggests. Protect & serve…

We had a farm go in right next door. They never had a chance to finish because a neighbor threatened that they would call the police and get them busted.
They split. So we went over and cleaned it out. $2000 worth of wood and tools and planting soil left behind. The property is now completely clear, we sold the wood and made a cool amount of money. Now there is another one that’s in already about a quarter mile from us, we’ve been spying, they have about 800 plants in the ground. Sheriff has been notified, we managed to photograph through a small opening in the wall and photographed rows and rows of plants in the ground.
    Doing another recon tonight.
