I’ve seen a dog have a seizure after eating marijuana.
My mom said that her mothers dog had ate nearly an ounce when she was a teenager in the late sixties. She took the dog to the vet and he prescribed dog Valium basically and it took nearly 48 hours til the dog stopped hallucinating. She hid the dog in her room. Ive also seen a cat addicted to meth. People would smoke and the cat would try to get it. If people put lines out and he could go lick it he would. When everyone got clean and. When there was no meth the cat slept for a week except for the times he had to use the litter box and when he started binging on cat food. The cat was all white but was dirty from the ground all the time. He gained weight and he got washed and kept his hygiene good. Ive heard of animals drinking alcohol. I had a dog that did that. Hed make a face and go to the next cup and do the same. Wild animals have been known to get high such as bamboos and even birds. Usually eating fermented berries that naturally acure. P.s. the vet that my mom saw would also take a person’s dog if they were not taking care of the dog or other animals. Needless to say he had a lot of animals that no one wanted. He also re homed many of them as well.

You have to be really careful with edibles bc it’s not so much the pot that will kill them, but the chocolate or ingredients within the edibles. You should still bring them to the vet for observation and fluids. I can’t stand people who get their pets high purposely. It’s disgusting

So back in the day I was cleaning my weed. Making it fine and removing stick and the odd seed here and there mostly just the bud sticks. But bud sticks have THC and enough of bud stick can get you high af if you make tea from it.
Back to the story cleaning my weed and I was stoned already. So I had a plate on the ground at my feet where I placed the unwanted stuff. After cleaning I wanted to throw away the stuff in the plate. Only to find the plate empty.
My fox terrier ate everything. He was high af. Was funny as hell. He could not even get onto the couch I had to pick him up. He was biting the smoke from my spliff.
After that I couod not leave my weed out he always wanted to get into my stash. Stoner dog plus stoner owner…
