Iโ€™m using the same medium and fertilizer in 20 gal pots. What kind of training techniques did you employ to grow those monsters/recommend for outside grows? From Ontario btw ๐Ÿ™‚

Trimming always sucks, once you finish one plant and feel accomplished then realize you have 10 more.
I did it once and realized 3-4 plants is best to manage

Absolutely beautiful plants you have there. I’ve had 4 six ft. girls the last 3 years. They grew in 20 gallon recycling bins using Plant Products commercial cannabis fertilizers and I was thinking that’s about the best I’m going get here (outside) in Southern Ontario. This year I put them in the ground. Thought I could lower the plants visible height. That didn’t work though because they grew to 10 ft. and 7 ft wide The yield and bud size is really impressive and I’ve never had buds so tight and heavy. In ground I didn’t have to water daily and only used composted manure and fertilizer a couple of times. The ground is far superior at giving them what they want in my opinion. The only thing is if the plant in the pot gets blown over by high winds (pretty common here) you can stand them up again with little damage but in ground support is critical. They catch the wind like a fn sail. Next year I’ll be perfecting that hopefully.
Digging around I was amazed to find the water roots spreading out 6 ft from the stem. Seams more natural for the plant to be allowed to spread out and find what it needs. I’ll be leaving the roots in the ground to decompose and putting more manure on top this fall ( no till farming lol ). I’m convinced that natural is better and easier.
Just a tip I have for getting your plants in early: I plant them in early May and cover with a large flower pot if the nights get too cold. I do that with rhubarb to get it to sprout early and seems to work great. Cheers too all the home growers and check out Canadian Cannabis Growers Club on F.B. if you’re interested.

  15. Esteban Martinez on December 8, 2021 at 3:11 pm

They weren’t dense bc you didn’t prune

  16. MMA&BOXING CLIPS on December 8, 2021 at 3:13 pm

Hey bro I’ve grown gdp with these nutrients I strongly recommend.
    Floranova bloom by general hydroponics
    Big Bud by advanced nutrients
    Carboload by advanced nutrients
You will get the biggest, most smelly sticky buds, that are AAA+ Quality
Been using it for over 10 years. Best nutes.

  25. TheNew Brazy999 on December 8, 2021 at 3:26 pm

You suck… i grow nothing but outdoor check my fat nugs

  26. Danny Stout on December 8, 2021 at 3:26 pm

I believe if you toss in some extra phosphorus and potassium during bloom you’ll be more pleased with the outdoor bud..

  36. Tony 2 Tokes on December 8, 2021 at 3:33 pm

Nice video. I like the humor and the reality check to people thinking about growing, that is important. 2020 sure was a good sun year for sure. Best to grow plants that fit your area and your needs. The biggest advantage to the smaller pots is you can bring them in years end if needed. Anyhow. Nice channel and take care

  41. Ken Hall on December 8, 2021 at 3:36 pm

How often did you water? And how much on the average.

  42. xXTheWolfXx on December 8, 2021 at 3:37 pm

Just build a greenhouse and you can light dep and you can still grow monsters..also if you can get coast of Maine stonington blend mix soil you wonโ€™t have to add any nutrients the whole way, just water..100% organic.

  47. James Smith on December 8, 2021 at 3:47 pm

what seed plant is this ?

  48. brandon taylor on December 8, 2021 at 3:52 pm

I make bubble hash out of my outdoor bud. The hash yield is so much higher with outdoor

  49. Tee Cee on December 8, 2021 at 3:52 pm

Hire trimmers for $15/hr or get a commercial trimming machine, problem solved!

  50. Brandon Davis on December 8, 2021 at 3:53 pm

That’s the size I’m aiming for next year. First time grower this year, my area just legalized it. This year was experience, next year is practical usage of that experience.
