Common Cannabis Nutrient Deficiencies
Common Cannabis Nutrient Deficiencies
Common Cannabis Nutrient Deficiencies
-Mobile vs Immobile Nutrients
Mobile- Can be translocated from older growth to newer tissue which means the deficiency of these nutrients will first show-up in the older plant material.
Immobile- Essentially are fixed in place in the plant.
-Chelated Fertilizers
Chelated fertilizers are more stable and plant available sources of nutrients.
This improved fertilizer use efficiency
Fertilizers in this category can often be used as a foliar application in addition to being media applied which can help reduce the time a plant remains nutrient deficient.
Nitrogen (N)
Phosphorus (P)
Potassium (K)
Calcium (Ca)
Magnesium (Mg)
Sulfur (S)
Copper (Cu)
Iron (Fe)
Manganese (Mn)

Could you share your thoughts on cal/mag deficiencies resulting from using LED lights?
Very useful information! Thank you.
I’ve been struggling to identify my plants deficiencies for sometime, this is perfect thank you!
Great video, hope to see more. It is important for new growers to understand the "cannabis nutrient ph chart", I find the most common is "manganese" as it falls outside the usual ph water , so simply by changing the water ph once every 2 weeks to 5.5ph, your plant will not show this at all. Also stay away from humic acid, as it is shown to decrese cannabinoids by up to 35% in the buds (google cannabis humic acid and you’ll see the 1st scientific post on it…great read about nutrients and what they do to the plant all based around cannabinoids
I have cannabis deficiency.
Please please french version or subtitle french version thanks you very much 🙏🙏👌
Probably the best resource I have found for deficiencies, thank you!
If your going to use foliar spray its better to do 30min to an hour before lights out just to reduce that chance of burn In fact if you’re growing outdoor I wouldn’t even water until the sun is going down
Hello i want to do a question, can i cut the yellow flower of the plant?or it would damage the plant?for example on 5 week of floracion,,thanks
Good stuff
Thank you so much for taking the time to explain this clear and concise segment.
What do I do if I’m starting to get PM on my outdoor plant with 2 weeks to harvest?
Thank you i have seen all of these before. I took a screen shot of them .
great info 🙂
Thx i was wanting this information .
Going to take notes. Its worth watching over
I use to use a really complicated home made nutrient schedule but now I just use 3 part advanced nutrient micro, Grow and bloom with green planet pro cal and big bud. Easier and the ph always comes out perfect or very close
So fan leaves turning yellow and falling off is preventable once you hot 12/12 I thought that was just a part the natural process haha time for some urea calcium nitrate and blood meal! Thank you i feel so much more confident talking about this with my boss after watching your knowledgeable videos.
Can anybody tell me why a plants fan leaves nearer the top would begin to go thin? Genetics possibly but if it were some kind of a deficiency which would it be?
(Mid way flower stage)
Easy way to understand . Clear & clean explanations. Thank you from France
Watched this at least 10 times just for practice thanks for your time
Symptoms and solutions. Lucid. Thanks man.
So helpful. Thank you Professor!
********Potassium deficiency can also look like heat stress sometimes **********************************
If chlorine is a micro nutrient. Why is it standard practice to dechlorinate the water before feeding
Still the best video on defs!
thanks for helpful tips much respect great vid
pH is a massive thing!
The wrong pH can make the plant pretend it’s got nutrient deficiency?
That’s what I’ve heard anyway.
The right pH is very important.
Great video. I’m going to save it.
Still cant figure out my problems, ph is good nitrogen is good cus they almost curl at the tips from it an bottom leaves still starting to yellow .light an temps also good
Thank you so much
Do they make a good all around fertilizer for growing?
So just Pee on them? lol(kidding) Thanks for the Vid
I have a plant with slightly yellowing new growth and droopy leaves on the ends growth as well. The stems are also purple. Is this a sulfur deficiency. How can I fix this?
?
Great explanation…I have all of these problems…guess there’s no 1 stop mix for all the 3 groups?
Очень хотел бы посмотреть это видео на русском языке.
It would be very helpful if you took still shots of the leaves and incorporate them into the video. When holding them they are not in focus. But a great video/explanation.
Great blend of visual references with narrative
Excellent video
Great knowledge but isn’t it Sulphur ?
This is a highly informative video and I appreciate you taking the time to make this. I thought I was having nutrient deficiency issues for a year and it turns out I was using too much light I was running a 630 watt double ended CMH fixture in a 4×4 tent. If you can’t figure out your nutrient deficiency issues and you’re blasting your plants with light that might be the reason
Slam Dunk!
informative
Thanks mate, this is so simple to follow and understand and the extra info around each of the deficiencies is absolute gold
i have noticed that the tips of the leaves are slightly yellow, i honestly can’t understand why
Perfect video.
Bless you heart and peace and love!
Thank you for sharing this with all of us, we appreciate you! 🥰
Really nicely done! Love the explanations with the images/slides to elaborate on things to watch for as well as avoid.
anyone else glance at the thumbnail and think the weed leafs were bananas
