Congressman only know money. After years of schooling, they frown on getting high. They only move when their supporters pay them to do so…

  10. Florentino Aguirre on May 21, 2022 at 10:40 pm

I’m all for it but it needs strong regulation so large corporations dont bank on it. Large corporations shouldn’t be allowed in the industry and once a company makes 1 million revenue that’s all they can do ir else we going to have large company taking over which should not be allowed

  11. Heaven 42# on May 21, 2022 at 10:40 pm

change only come two ways you change it or you force it to change , Decide ? I’ll do the Rest . Quantum Mechanics

  12. Dune Xapa on May 21, 2022 at 10:40 pm

Another glaring example (as if one is needed) that the majority of lawmakers in DC, Republican or Democrat, are not interested in doing what is rational or good for the people. If any idea has good merits and good counter-arguments there should be a significant number from both parties to vote on both sides of an issue. This being an almost entirely partisan politics issue is BS.

  22. Basil Maz on May 21, 2022 at 10:52 pm

I never took the House passing it very seriously because I knew the House supported it, but the Senate didn’t. The Senate still doesn’t have enough Republicans who are willing to make a change as older Republicans don’t want the change, so it makes sense. You will need more states accepting it. You’ll probably get a couple more states accepting by this winter.

  23. Byron Leatham on May 21, 2022 at 10:54 pm

  31. Michael Potts on May 21, 2022 at 11:03 pm

Pro or Con the battle is over…Time to generate some tax revenue here folks.

  32. Spook on May 21, 2022 at 11:05 pm

Dems only talk about it to pander for votes. It’s sickening! And republicans supposedly stand for limited gov and individual rights yet 100% voted against legalization. Also sickening! This country is a fucking joke with our own oligarchs system. At some point it becomes not worth fighting for.

  33. Heaven 42# on May 21, 2022 at 11:07 pm

they are above the law and they must be removed before anything will change they are playing GOD, must be nice.

  34. Wayne Kinne on May 21, 2022 at 11:09 pm

This would be the Mexican Drug Cartels dream come true, they could sell marijuana in the US legally, they would send it in by the train load. They have an incredible distribution system already in place. International trade laws would require we allow them to send in all they could sell, it would be the end of U.S. grown marijuana.

  35. Robert Christiansen on May 21, 2022 at 11:10 pm

The Senate needs to get real,Sorry Ala. South we need lotto still …

  36. David Sizemore on May 21, 2022 at 11:12 pm

Just quit talking about it and legalize it worldwide!!! Big money business win! win! It would create more jobs for a lot of people, not too mention all the tags of the money that they’re gonna make off of it trillions and trillions of dollars. Government wouldn’t damn sure be broke, and the social security, and ssi that people draw checks for on the first and the third every month most people get would have plenty of money for everyone plus give them raises every year!! Have money to build big buildings and groups to help people, also fix our highways and back roads.

  37. Adam Sonof on May 21, 2022 at 11:15 pm

Cannabis use is as American as Thomas Jefferson

  38. Steven Ray on May 21, 2022 at 11:16 pm

  39. JC on May 21, 2022 at 11:19 pm

  40. Kevin Head on May 21, 2022 at 11:20 pm

Some time this summer would be nice

  41. John Lewis on May 21, 2022 at 11:20 pm

I’m a vet and smoke it. Better than alcohol. So get over it

  42. C Shir on May 21, 2022 at 11:21 pm

Slow is where they stand. We can put a rush on not calling grandparents and moms/dads by this but can’t get this obvious win done. Ok, guess its ok to go an drink 10,000 gallons of alcohol but still federally class 1 restricted drug for MJ> Our politicians need to retire because they all are older than my parents and well past their prime. Republicans will not be an issue in approving this due to the tax positives

  43. Alan Deli on May 21, 2022 at 11:25 pm

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (Romans 6:23)
For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? (Matthew 16:26)
For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. (Romans 10:13)
The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. (2 Peter 3:9)

  44. Kitura Faucett on May 21, 2022 at 11:25 pm

  49. Byron Leatham on May 21, 2022 at 11:30 pm

Yeah this legislation is 100 years old or do and the government needs to just get their damn nose out of it completely tax the profit make a legal so I can own it grow it and get me off of felony for having it completely ridiculous while it was past illegal anyhow just like so many other laws we have they were past because somebody had more money than the opposition
