Namco is bringing the popular anime and Manga series back into a new JRPG,One Piece Odyssey. In this all new trailer, we got a look at the swashbuckling crew, bursting from sea into the clouds. The game is expected to release in 2022 for PS5 and Xbox.

Another missed opportunity to make an MMORPG. Really wasting the potential of the worlds that have already been created by Oda by focusing on an "original" one. You can easily make different factions out of the WG, Revolutionaries, and Pirates; use Pirate Crews as a clan system; different fighting styles with DF, Haki, or both; integrate real-time events such as the Marineford War, etc. But instead of saving up the manpower and other resources for the dream game, we’re getting a mobile card game and a Zelda knock-off.

If they were to make a Kakarot style game and/or FighterZ style fighter for One Piece, that would be great. At the very least, I hope this game ends up being what World Seeker should have been.

not gonna lie when I heard the guy talking English in the beginning I thought this game was gonna be dubbed. I did grow up with the funimation version and still watch it for the Nostalgia but I do prefer the original.
They took the Mario- in Odyssey away and put one piece in instead
