The cannabis industry must have an equal footing with other, competing, industries. Therefore, in addition to their "usual and customary" lobbying efforts, the cannabis industry, from top to bottom, Must Insist that any Federal regulations of additives to cannabis products, for whatever purpose, also be imposed on the Tobacco industry. That would include herbicides and pesticides. Under the current law, the FDA is forbidden to even ask, much less test, the host of noxious chemicals that are used to grow and process cigarette, cigar, and pipe tobacco.
