  3. Tim Hays on October 15, 2022 at 7:08 am

This situation with Blizzard is nothing new. It is the status-quo of all big business.

Activision was the worst thing to happen to blizzard

  10. The Hatter on October 15, 2022 at 7:18 am

Well I hope the cleaned house and new dev members can actually do some good.

Like actually listen to the players, I hope that community managers list was saved so it can be finished and used.

  11. Lin on October 15, 2022 at 7:19 am

Yeah I ended my sub, I refuse to fund this company any longer. I don’t care how good future games will be. They’re not getting my money ever again.

Blizzard: "but half your salary is exposure"

  13. dabbi daa on October 15, 2022 at 7:21 am

All pure unrestrained capitalism at work. Should be no surprise to anyone that the only value is money. This is the world we have built.

  14. Shardul Singh on October 15, 2022 at 7:22 am

Blizzard has been corrupted by the old gods.

  15. edrick1976 on October 15, 2022 at 7:25 am

This should have been a clue.

  16. Eric Engel on October 15, 2022 at 7:26 am

Lol. No one wants to work for blizzard. Now just wanting for someone to snap and give good ol’ bobby and Allen a piece of Pb 82.

  17. Tomek Kruk on October 15, 2022 at 7:27 am

I ain’t buying any of their products anymore. The quality dropped by a lot and news like that don’t really give much hope for improvement in the future.

I am a professional developer and I became one because of video games. I am not working in the gaming industry as a developer because it is the least paying industry in development. It is an industry known to make developers poor and miserable. Now I would love to work for a company like Blizzard but I know that I would just divide my paycheck by two.

I was offered a job at Amazon into the AWS team once. Now Amazon is known for it’s horrible working conditions. I really considered this offer because of the prestige of the company. In the end I chose to turn it down and I was extremely clear why I did so. Today I work in a small company of 12 people. I work with great people with an awesome company culture, the best boss I’ve ever had, and a good salary.

Big companies believe that they can buy developers by giving them "prestige". That’s like wanting to pay a graphic designer with "exposure". It is wrong and it should be said. Developers do NOT need big companies for prestige. Passionate developers will put a ton of work into their projects and will achieve more than what a team of depressed and disgusted people would do. That’s the truth they have to swallow if they ever want to get any talent in the future. What they are getting now are either people so eager to work that specific IP that they are willing to sell their soul, or people who sadly cannot do better because they lack either talent, training, commitment or all of the previous.

What could have been one of the most epic patches of wow was turned into a fucking joke

Owh wow!, this is quite revealing isn’t it? 🙄..

Greetings, the worst thing that ever happened to blizzard was merging with Activision. Firing people then relisting the job with more responsibility is just egregious. Lack of any compassion from those spreadsheet executives is just wrong! Creating the problem of brain drain and not fixing it is inexcusable! Making players leave by not listening to them… As a customer, treating them like a percentage within their share price for their shareholders is also wrong. Not giving their team members a liveable wage so they can live on their own is wrong! I won’t be renewing my subscription to wow until something is done!

For this Video, 0.75 speed feels more comfortable. You were talking quite fast.

  26. JaigEyes on October 15, 2022 at 7:35 am

What I hate are the Blizzard employees that get salty about it on twitter any time you criticize the company…. The company is crooked as fuck, dont go down with that ship

  27. ProtMythic on October 15, 2022 at 7:36 am

I got a death threat and they made a murloc joke. Had to take my channel down.

This came up in my feed today and I literally thought it was the current events

  29. RokkitGrrl on October 15, 2022 at 7:43 am

Blizzard has become a useless parasite to both customer and employee, where they offer no value to the former and no quality of lite to the latter.

  30. NEX 56 on October 15, 2022 at 7:44 am

Blizz used to be the best

Now: blizz is bad and has the worst president in gaming history Brack and activision

  31. KJ B on October 15, 2022 at 7:46 am

    you talk too fast, man.

  32. Cordero Agosto on October 15, 2022 at 7:48 am

  33. Kevin Raber on October 15, 2022 at 7:49 am

Wow will never be good again, let alone great, as long as activision owns it.

  34. DavidHe346 on October 15, 2022 at 7:49 am

Microsoft buying activision was a multi billion dollar mistake

  35. BioAlpha on October 15, 2022 at 7:50 am

Funnily this is now popping up 2 years later lmao well well well; Activistion

  36. Sareseras on October 15, 2022 at 7:50 am

Is it just me or is Activision becoming synonymus to corruption or degradation? So in essence we don’t have the original Blizzard but a "Corrupted-Blizzard" or "Degraded-Blizzard".

Who knows, one day whatever is left will be in the hands on the players alone and flourish, since I can’t imagine investors who also play and partake in the community to be doing such incompetent decisions which ultimately hurts themselves.

  37. AHylianWarrior on October 15, 2022 at 7:50 am

Hey look, this is relevant again

  38. BookCade NB on October 15, 2022 at 7:51 am

There is no such thing as Activision-Blizzard. The Company is 100% Hactivision and nothing else.

  39. 1Wade9 on October 15, 2022 at 7:55 am

Blizzard needs to buy it’s freedom back from Activision. Modern corporations are too big to accomplish their mission. Blizzard was big enough to continue to develop WOW before the buyout. Capitalism is starting to suck.

  40. Carlos Mireles on October 15, 2022 at 7:57 am

well, this aged well for blizzard

  41. Khaled Soliman on October 15, 2022 at 7:58 am

    Blizzard is dead.

  42. watchthe1369 on October 15, 2022 at 7:59 am

The BRACK ERA = Decline of Blizzard. They are little more than caretakers now. That is exactly why I stopped with the expansion packs and enjoy my time on classic.

  43. MattyMack on October 15, 2022 at 7:59 am

  46. Culvea Solvere on October 15, 2022 at 8:02 am

Actually some class specs have NOT been the same since WoD all they did was tweak certain classes so they’d remain functional in PVP while completely ignoring others for years, it’s actually been a decade since the BM Hunter Spec lost it’s base functionality and usefulness in anything much less pvp dungeons or raids!

  47. Shawn Harper on October 15, 2022 at 8:02 am

Blizzard can do whatever they want because their players are unwilling to fight back.

  48. Severinsen on October 15, 2022 at 8:03 am

Knowing what we know now, this is actually made _so much worse…_
Imagine being in a toxic work environment that exploits and abuses you, but you’re not even paid well either.
    *Damn!*

  49. Gantzuka on October 15, 2022 at 8:04 am

And because of the higher ups decisions. We now have FROST GIANT STUDIO. They’re producing an New RTS. If it rivals Starcraft, then it’s only a matter of time before they go for World of Warcraft’s throat.

  50. Razertail Druid on October 15, 2022 at 8:04 am

Activision / Blizzard Should Be Known These Days As Crap-D-Vision / Blizz-Turd Since These Companies Started With Atari’s Crap And Will End With Blizzard’s Turd.
