It’s because most of the lawyers and upper class society is taking cocaine

Three days makes perfect sense and should maybe longer. Most people that regularly smoke weed have no idea what sober actually feels like. The half-life of weed is much much longer than alcohol.

So what happens if you have a medical cannabis prescription and have used it as prescribed? Technically they can say you were still driving while impaired (they can say this for any medicine e.g. antihistamines, opioid pain killers, etc).
One thought – medical cannabis can also be edibles (rather than vaped herbs) often for anxiety. If you have such a prescription could you take some orally, after you have been stopped, and say you needed it to cope with the anxiety of being stopped. Then you might have the "post consumption" defence maybe?
Within the UK medical cannabis community, this is a serious concern as who decides if you are impaired to drive due some small level of cannabis that you are prescribed say for combating cancer treatment side effects (one of the medical conditions cannabis can be prescribed for, since 2018).

When the law is unjust the people enforcing the laws are the criminals.
it’s of course better to not drive while you’re still high but I’ve done it and it’s 97% fine. Driving with a nicotine buzz is more intense than driving high (obviously depends just how high you are lol). It’s ridiculous
