Last time they used the inside of a concrete bridge here, using the electricity from the lamp posts. Hid the inside behind black plastic, so an eventual inspector with a flashlight wouldn’t notice anything. Genius.

Just as an fyi Nick if your ever called out to this in future the people that do this sometimes set up Eletrical traps for the police / intruders so that when it’s touched or dismantled they get a shock. For instance no earth and putting earth to live too making most metal electrified.
I found one in Sydney. They cut into the consumer mains in the roof space to by pass the meter🙄. The landlady was a bit surprised.

this is great love having the mains and meter inside the bldg unlike in the states where most of the time they outside and open to the public. the only better place is canada they run the mains underground along home foundations core thru the basement wall jjumper cables to tap unlimited power lol
