Long lines as legal weed rolls out in Rockford

Customers started lining up shortly after midnight for the first day of recreational marijuana sales at Sunnyside*, a marijuana dispensary at 2696 McFarland Road, Rockford. Its doors opened at 6 a.m. as Illinois became the 11th state to legalize weed for recreational use.
