Guest: Daniel Berhnard, CEO, Institute for Canadian Citizenship

Most people that really want to come here are banned they have Reale life skills that aren’t taking into account most third world countries don’t have registered trade skill . There a shortage off welder and machanic in this country could be solved easily if you could only get the federal baboons out off the way, the gate keeper.
We have people that want to come and can’t get visa .
And then they let other just walk over border.
This should be the most prosperous country on earth but we keep voting in idiots with nice hair and nice clothes.

  2. Josito MTL on October 3, 2023 at 8:39 am

Just leave immigrants work as professionals. Stop gatekeepers once for all.

  5. Sam on October 3, 2023 at 8:45 am

The real problem the human resouces people they want to match 100% what they need . That make people do not find a job. The salaries a low than other countries. The small houses made of wood are expensive 1 millions. We need a real crash. The economy must crash in order to put things in order

  6. Mohamed Abdi on October 3, 2023 at 8:45 am

Can’t blame then. This country is going to shit.

Canada can be unstoppable πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚. Todays immigrants aren’t the same as before. They are here to use the system, not help it

  10. thefuturedrive on October 3, 2023 at 8:49 am

Wait, this guy just said newcomers build most of housing in Canada? Where is his source because that sounds absolutely untrue. Immigrants by and large do not go into construction.

80% of Indian immigrants will leave for US after getting Canadian passports.

  13. Mulovita on October 3, 2023 at 8:51 am

Truth is if you’re a refugee or coming from a place with open sewers or never saw a car and now you get to even drive an old beater, yeah then Canada is for you. However, if you have a degree from a world’s top uni in the US, China, Europe, etc. and can make top dollar in any major country where you’re desirable due to your top education and global work experience (vs being asked for "canadian experience" πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚), yeah this country has nothing to offer you, except for debasing and disrespecting you on every level. Only pro is easier PR process for the educated and consequently citizenship within 3 yrs which then makes it easier to access work visa and PR in actually desirable places for the educated and ambitious.

What’s happening in France will soon happen in Canada

  15. First Name on October 3, 2023 at 8:53 am

It’s not rocket science. If immigration is too high without enough housing or capacity of our existing social services, bad things will happen.

Though, in classic Trudeau identity politics of division fashion, anyone who suggested putting the brakes on immigration were automatic xenophobes and racists.

Do you know who immigration doesn’t affect? The Laurentian Elite ‘leaders’.

  16. cmeichan on October 3, 2023 at 8:55 am

I met a lot of nice new immigrants the past five years and unfortunately it feels like it’s the nice and diligent ones who usually spend a little more of their time and care in their work that don’t get PR, end up not appreciated by their employers, that are leaving. There are also business who hire mostly foreign workers to exploit their vulnerability.

  17. Allistair Trent on October 3, 2023 at 8:56 am

Come to Canada so you can pay high taxes to prop up exhorbitant government spending and pool your resources with a bunch of other people to help pay someone’s mortgage for the rest of your life. How has crypto flamed out ? Bitcoin is up some 500% since the same point before the last halving in 2020 whereas we have printed so much money that people can barely afford to eat on their wages. Considering it was designed as a hedge against money printing it seems to be doing OK. Apart from cheap money the reliance on housing as a form of investment is also a reflection of the lack of confidence in fiat currencies and the preference towards "hard assets".

Please stop bringing African people to Canada. Their cultural beliefs are not compatible with Canada. African people want to party loudly with all their friends. They disrupt communities. They commit a lot of violence. Its not fair to Canadians or Africans. I just witnessed a shirtless African soccer match in the middle of a Hortons parking lot. It involved lots of yelling and obnoxious behaviour. No one in the community felt comfortable. Enough with your political correctness! Stop bringing these people here. The young men don’t want to be homeowners or fathers. They just came to Canada to be disruptive and obnoxious. They make the worst neigjbours and call everyone racists. STOP!

  20. Isoryte on October 3, 2023 at 9:00 am

I think the government is mixing things up when it comes to immigration, and deliberately so, to dupe potential immigrants of their hard-earned money and then have employers use them like rags. I think it has become a free foreign resource transfer for the Canadian government.

He said they are in need of nurses now, but the Canadian embassies in foreign countries will not give any attention to people in foreign countries within the age bracket, interest and/or corresponding careers but will instead be marketing to, fishing for and picking high networth Engineers, Accountants, Bankers, Doctors, the creme of the society just to have them bring all their savings to Canada. Free foreign resource transfer.

And when they arrive here, employers will not recognize their skills and work experiences. NO. They thumb their noses and sneeze on their qualifications and work experiences….oh the Great Canadian Experience jargon. The system will gradually squeeze the immigrants of all their savings and deliberately wait them out to have no other option than to start all over from McDonalds and Tim Hortons. Men and women in their late 30s and 40s going to work minimum wage jobs. This is a big scam.

I came into this country close to 15 years ago with multi-continent work experience, still obtained masters degree from an elite university here, bringing in more than $100k into Canadian economy. But since then, no job application I ever made brought me in front of a hiring manager.
Canada has destroyed all my plans, no career, no life, constantly on gov support. Every line of job I train for, there would always be an excuse from the first line of HR why they can’t hire me. Any opportunity I have, I’d be leaving here in a beat. Canada is unwelcoming. Forget the smiley faces.

  23. Brodie Allard on October 3, 2023 at 9:02 am

Daniel here is wrong,…..immigration is required in every country, however every country has its number limits. The numbers allowed to enter the country in the last 5 years is ridiculous whether there educated or not. If they were well off in there own country then they wouldn’t come here.

  24. Jessika Piche on October 3, 2023 at 9:03 am

The institute for Canadian Citizenship… what a laugh! There is so many scams about Canada immigration, that this has become as stupid to fall for as the phone call telling you you inherit from a rich uncle in india.

the only reason that they say Canada need immigrants, is so they can make you work for extremely low wages, exploits your knowledge, and not paying you any government protections. Don’t come here… it is a trap. There is no way, NO WAY, someone can live in Canada and put money aside to buy a house or anything else. I know cardiologist that come from india and cannot even be a nurse here… so don’t even try.

  25. ax056 on October 3, 2023 at 9:04 am

If you want to become a Citizen of Canada you need to be doing IT, the LEGAL way.. Either way, living in Canada is going to tougher than the Country you left.. Better stay where you are.. However, if you come here the illegal way, you get Free Accommodations, Telephones, Transportation, Food and host of other free things that I don’t even know, of.. That’s the part of T H I S … I hate.. I lived here all my life and I had to W O R K … for anything I call, is mine.. In My opinion, that’s what Immigrants come to Canada, for.. When THAT RUNS OUT, they go back to where they came from.. Call Centers, Food Stores Take – Outs and any number of CHEEO LABOUR are forced to hire these people and then given TAX BREAKS to POCKET huge amounts of unearned MONEY.. In My Humble Opinion … That’s WRONG.. W H Y? The Money difference is made up by Hard Working / Real Canadians.. T H E N … the money that these Illegal Canadians get from the Government leaves the Country and sent back to their relatives to start the process all over, again.. This action is just the TIP of the ICEBURG.. This ACTION … Is SO CRIMINAL.. T H I S … has got to STOP.. IT’s NOT Sustainable..

*Canada is too expensive, too cold, your salary just can’t cover the high cost of everything, and then you have to be hiding in your home for 6 months due to the extreme cold every year, it’s not worthy, that’s why I left Canada*

  29. Zahra D on October 3, 2023 at 9:10 am

Job uncertainty is huge burden on everyone.
Weather, high expenses , health care, education system, racism, shortage of facilities for families to spend time in cold are coming next.

  38. Colleen Cameron on October 3, 2023 at 9:21 am

Cannot hire immigrants if they do not speak our language. They are illerate when they speak.
We let them in our drugstores. Very dangerous because they do not understand English and gave been known to give out wrong prescriptions.
Also, their social skills are deployable. So rude.

  39. Feroz Khan on October 3, 2023 at 9:21 am

LOL, I was born/raised here and I want to leave after recently getting married. I wouldn’t say I will leave in 2 years but me and my wife are planning on leaving within 10 years after working our asses off and increasing our investment portfolio. For me it’s not necessarily affordability, I have a great career and my family and I already own 2 houses and we’ll likely buy another 3 or 4 to rent out, but rather I want to raise my future kids in my own culture and among my people and family (ex. aunts, cousins, nieces/nephews) which I can’t really do here. Well I do have some extended family here, will look into connecting with them more now I’m married but after having experienced Lahore, the better weather, the lower cost of living, the myriad of different terrains from deserts to beaches to snow capped mountains all easily accessible within the same country, the far superior private healthcare I can get which is very cheap, etc… I just don’t feel like living in Canada anymore.

I have lived in Canada for 9 years now. Got my accounting degree and back in school studying Computer science. My degree doesn’t even cut it anymore. There’s so much uncertainty living in Canada- one has to worry about cost of living, pay, housing, and so on. Just can’t wait to be done with my program and I am out. Hardworking people definitely don’t get rewarded

  43. Kayleigh Swenson on October 3, 2023 at 9:25 am

Securing a job as an immigrant world wide is really difficult, how do everyone expect us to survive

  44. Cruze on October 3, 2023 at 9:25 am

I returned my PR to IRCC last year… Canada is very highly horrible nation in world.. Immigrantion is a big scam to make huge billion dollars and in return Canada keep their immigrants like animals..

Canada is Lonely, Isolated and Depressed Country.. This is the reason why old population is higher… Young immigrants who come Canada becomes 10-15 years older of their present age because of plenty of hardwork, 2-3 survival jobs on daily basis, using expensive items like Iphone, BMW, Audi and till death keep working to repay the loan they took…. Canada is really worst, sad country to live…..Every year million immigrants come but where they go????

Many immigrants leave Canada same year after few months, some immigrants murdered by natives, some left die in trauma by becoming slaves of Canadians and the left immigrants surviving hard bcz of no option to go back.

    1. Very bad winters. Feel like frostbite
    2. No Social Life
    3. Horrible Medical Facility
    4. To get a doctor book appointment first and you will get appointment after 4-5 months and till that ur pain becomes unbearable. Shamless Medical Facility.
    5. Only Consulation is FREE…. Medicines are too expensive and that includes consultation itself.
    6. Students specially girls are doing prostitution hiding bcz of high college fee they unable to pay.
    7. Immigrant Agents are full corrupted in Canada and IRCC agents are included in this as well… IRCC HAS no control and unable to stop IRCC registered corrupt agents…

I am happy in my country back and even feel rich here instead became a slave in Canada… Many homeless people in Canada..

FUTURE IS VERY DARK OF CANADA… Better go to affordable and peaceful country.
