New York Times endorses marijuana legalization, receives criticism
The New York Times is adding its voice to the call for legalization of marijuana in an editorial this weekend that immediately stirred controversy. Jan Crawford reports.
The Government does not tell me what I can and can NOT smoke. I am a 35 year old man. I do what I want and smoke what I want . period!
I call bullshit on those deaths. They did a study on how much THC you’d have to consume in order to Overdose and it’s physically impossible to hit it. We can’t concentrate it enough and we can’t consume it fast enough in order to OD. You can you take a pound of the highest grade concentrated hash oil or dabs known to man and smoke it, you still won’t over dose. In fact your body wouldn’t even let you finish it. You’d likely fall asleep or black out or just won’t be able to move, before you even get through half of it.
Let’s see I’m 16 now by the time I’m 21 I should be good to go in nj
Finally, an organization that cares about democracy. I’m sorry, but 57%+ of Americans want cannabis legalized. Where’s democracy? That’s a clear majority… In a democratic society, it should be becoming law. It’s a shame so many don’t love democracy and block real Americans from getting their MAJORITY view. All the elected officials should be ashamed of themselves for not representing the majority of their constituents. They did take an oath to represent their constituents, and they are failing to do that on this issue…
Legalize πΊπΈ
I want some sources on these "deaths"
Β This guy says "do we want a stoned society"?Β You don’t have to smoke it if you don’t want to and many people will not. It is known as free will. Β As far as these alleged "2 deaths", 2 people died from alcohol, in the time it took me to type this.
lets do this. the minute it becomes legal im quitting my slave job applying for a license and going to start growing. i have a 800 sq foot building that only needs insulation
That’s are Republic!!! in action
I smell a lot of pot these days in New York City and they even smoke pot
in a public area around tourists and kids. I wonder if people are
killed or hurt indirectly under the influence of marijuana that
legalizes by the federal government/states — we can sure the federal
government for a lot of money because the states do not control the
selling of it, right?
Some heavy pothead hit my friend under the influence of pot on the street and she ended up in the hospital. I am going to make the government to pay — any smart attorney here? a case number perhaps I can reference to?
Fuck the Gov. Marijuana has NEVER killed a single soul.
Older than 21. Leave people alone. Come on: it is time.
