The Bohemian Chemist, Mendocino Sungrown Cannabis

A second-generation legacy cannabis farm intersects and draws parallels with the importance of terroir in one of California’s premier growing regions for both wine and weed.

With the end of prohibition, a small heritage farm launches The Bohemian Chemist, a cannabis brand which is showcased at their hospitality properties located in Anderson Valley at the southern end of the Emerald Triangle.

Some of the leading small brands in California weigh in on the importance of an elevated craft market and breaking the mold of the stigma surrounding the plant.

Ohio is a great place to grow outdoors. The temps in September can be over 80 degrees during the day and drop the the mid 50’s at night. Them conditions produce monster bud. My biggest 136 grams. I harvest between 8 am and 10 am while the condensation is on plant. I grew a male plant first to harvest the pollen and freeze dried. All my plants get lightly pollinated, so plants live the full life cycle. So if you find a seed, you win.

    Beautiful place
I agree ☝️ sun grown weed has a “feeling” from the terps, thc, cbd, that indoors can’t replicate. Sun grown strawberry cough is the best smoke I’ve experienced. It has everything I want from smoking

It is still a risk to grow cannabis openly in urban neighborhoods and in other countries. To say that “We can grow outdoors now” as a generalized statement, is as Michael Jackson would say, Ignant.

I’ll go outcoor illegal on principal rather than go indoors to conform. Screw them!

All this is about consumers and trying to get rich, but it should be about some thing that is available for everyone in their own backyards. I’m not chasing this dream. I’ve lived the dream. Decriminalization is what needs to happen. Legalization was all about taxing and stealing tax money from people who don’t want to spend any money in the first place in order to have the beautiful drug of cannabis.

I husband and I lived 33 wonderful years in California before we retired and the Bohemian Chemists remind me why we loved Cali so much.

It’s great to see people who really appreciate the culture of Cannabis and the craftsmanship of growing it. They show a mature outlook in the production of cannabis Versus, the industry of hype and bling with a Gangster attitude. As a grower You either love what you do in the garden or you have attitude about what you do in the garden. True supporters are passionate about what they use to create the product for human consumption.

But I bet none of these people if blindfolded could tell the difference between there own grown weed and the same cutting grown with synthetic nutrients indoors, accept perhaps the increased resin production that leads to higher thcv and terpenes/smell and flavour. science knows best cos mother nature ain’t a thing.

Missouri went recreational about 6 months ago, and the public is allowed to sign up for a permit ($100) to grow a certain number of plants indoors only. While this is miles ahead of being arrested for growing even one, as was the case for the 45 years I have been a smoker, it is still not what I consider freedom. I did not sign up and won’t be growing any until I can do it like I do tomatoes or any other harmless plant I feel like growing.

Money, money, money, money, money, money, money. If it’s a lifestyle than it should be for everyone and it’s not exclusive to those who can’t afford it. Yuppie Californians is all this is about.

Don’t mix alcohol with smoking weed it’s a bad combination

  43. Guitar magic on November 24, 2023 at 5:47 pm

Indoor is always best. Higher co2 levels, no pests in your bud, no dust or other airborne particles in your buds witch is un avoidable growing outdoors.

I have one tree that I keep trying to pull in and take back outside weather permitting but it is over nine feet tall now and is just now starting to flower I wonder how much taller it’s going to get. I did top it once when it was younger and I did mix up my own soil and used foxfarm liquid nutrients. I’m an amateur at this that’s why I only have one plant but it does seem like the sun gives it almost everything and needs and then some
