In the years since recreational marijuana was legalized in Michigan, more parents and older adults are switching from alcohol to cannabis consumption to relax. There are concerns related to health and judgement while under the influence of either. Still, marijuana sales in Michigan continue to soar.

Switching from booze to pot is probably the best thing anyone could do for themself other than just quitting everything but then how would you relax in 2023 on the verge of World War III? Booze will just continue to ruin society and any lives in its wake.

Flower in Michigan is junk. They processed the crap out of it after harvest. By the time you get it it’s boof.. no trichomes, no potency just weed they ran through a willow machine to auto-trim. Those percentages are BEFORE processing not what you actually get. That potency vanishes after processing.
I use to drink and smoke 💨 more of the drinking and one day I crashed my car drunk and from that day on I decided to just smoke weed and it’s been the best chose.

The #1 problem with the narrative about cannabis in this country is that people who have never done it or know what they’re talking about have controlled the narrative. There are plenty of people who can control themselves and self moderate when they drink so alcohol itself isn’t even really a factor in this. That’s just whataboutism. The #1 problem with all the other narratives on major issues in this country is the never closing mouth of MAGAts.

The reporting on this was SUPER cagey – although I am from the west coast, so I was thinking "Quit speaking in code and just say it — Weed is better than alcohol. And the whole tax revenue thing is working out for everyone!"

It’s only been since about 2020 that medicinal only cannabis has become realistically accessible to the general public here.

I can’t get pass the smell, I think it stinks so bad. And it doesn’t leave, the smell sticks to furniture, clothes and your hair.
What a stupid headline, good for them, no hangover, no jail time, the vehicle stays intact no one blacks out driving and accidently kills someone, less property damage all the way around you guys should have stopped drinking a long time ago stupid humans.
Id have bad days and when the day was done and I smoked marijuana, all that stress went away and I realized my day wasnt that bad after all. It might not be for everybody but it sure is an amazing plant for the people who find it useful. All those pharmaceuticals out the window replaced by one naturally occuring plant. Just beautiful. Dont get me wrong, I’ll still have a beer for taste. But i never liked getting drunk to begin with.
