Inside New Jersey’s Legal Weed Boom

As marijuana legalization spreads, states are looking at different ways to ensure those most affected by decades of racially biased anti-drug policies have a leg up.

Under a special program, New Jersey prioritizes granting licenses to dispensaries run by people with marijuana convictions on their records.

Lawmakers hope that by making equity a cornerstone of their newly legalized markets, those who dealt marijuana in the illegal, or “legacy,” market will be persuaded to go legit.

I am not too sure the mayor is selling a good message. We lost all our manufacturing, so we are going to rely on service sector work that is limited to within city. It’s not like it will increase tourism. Visit Trenton, get dope from a former drug dealer and gang banger.

Success is not built on success. It’s built on failure, It’s built on fraustration. it’s built on fear that you have to overcome. I pray that anyone who reads this will be successful in life

There are communist allies in the roc army

LOL, interesting idea, give priority to people that are known criminals because of some guilt ridden idea about racially motivated drug busts. Nothing about who’s lives he might have destroyed while doing drugs or distributing drugs, clearly we should give criminals the MOST help and first because all they ever do is perform victimless crimes, right?

  26. @94SexyStang on December 26, 2023 at 8:40 pm

THIS is the problem with NJ!!…..it’s so insanely expensive and over regulated, over complicated, that the market Collapses on itself……they try to "control" everything to the point of actually Killing it, instead of letting it flourish……I’m done, I’m out, this state has become a joke, a parody of itself.

SNOOP DOGG POT FARMER DANCE SONG $$
I got out my pipe stuffed it with pot
You better believe it held a whole lot.
I whipped out a lighter thumbed up a flame
Sucked down that smoke which comforts my brain.

    I tried alcohol smoked cigarettes
They did nothing but give me regrets.
My mom had arthritis could not walk around
I rolled her a joint she danced on the ground.

I thought I was losing my lovemaking knack
After I smoked some to me it came back.
Soon I decided prices were high
I searched for some ground I wouldn’t have to buy.

I bargained for seeds from smokers all around
Got in my truck and drove out of town.
I walked through the woods where wild birds nest
Found me the meadow I thought was the best.

I dug up the ground sowed all my seeds
Said a small prayer for strong, healthy weeds.
I watered at night with a five-gallon pail
Mosquitoes went hungry for I wore a veil.

Seven months went by; I thought I would die
Till the Halloween moon was high in the sky.
At night I went out, in a camouflage suit
Used my corn knife to chop down the loot.

I hung it up to dry where it couldn’t be found.
Came back and got it, when it had turned brown.
I trimmed off the buds, stuffed them in bags
Called all my friends and passed out free drags.

In less than a week my crop was gone
I flew to St. Thomas with a love hungry blonde!!
