I really wish it would hurry up man. I was a truck driver. I can’t smoke but I don’t want to take sleeping pills from an insomnia or when I go on vacation for 2 weeks I can’t even smoke because legally I to get in trouble even though I was on vacation cuz it would be nice. I’m off my long trip. I’m home. I can relax from a long week and smoke a little. Nope, I can’t because it’s not federal

Woody Harrelson being involved in this is the funniest thing I’ve seen in weeks and just makes me love him even more😂

  9. @jenniferjelke2502 on January 4, 2024 at 10:28 pm

I think the reporter kept using the word joint appropriately.

  10. @TreyWK on January 4, 2024 at 10:31 pm

Marijuana does not endanger any children nor has it ever. You should probably check your stats on alcohol and cigarettes Before you start trying to say anything.

  11. @CelticNickC on January 4, 2024 at 10:32 pm

    Hehe “a joint effort”

  13. @Hardwork7777 on January 4, 2024 at 10:35 pm

Road rage would go down. Cowards would stop sideswiping & braking checking. Roads would become pleasant again & safe to take your family on the road like in the 80’s. Truck drivers would be cool as ever if they were allowed to smoke. They always stressed out & ANGRY

It’s not going to be federally legal until they’re done sorting out their back room deals.

  20. @markboyett2069 on January 4, 2024 at 10:49 pm

I don’t understand the challenges as I would look to the 10nth amendment in the constitution where it plainly advises the state law supersedes the federal law.. and as for marijuana, I do not understand why a flesh and blood man or woman kneel before another flesh and blood man or woman that is in government, to ask for permission to have a seed bearing plant that is considered an herb, I then would point out what the king of all kings in the bible says ,Verses 29 to 30. [29] And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.
The people so maybe mankind should stop kneeling before other flesh and blood men and women and start realizing that God has already given his people these rights and then there was a bloody revolution that secured our constitution and the people have forgotten that the government is supposed to be working for the people and the government is not our rulers.

Its a power thing; it is in Texas anyway. Dan Patrick and Gregg Abbott could care less about what residents of Tx think unless it what they want us to think

  24. @coreytripp9939 on January 4, 2024 at 10:55 pm

the reason why it wont be legal until 20 years from now is because 80% of inmates are in there due to marijuana related charges, thats a HUGE portion of the drug war industry gone, BILLIONS of dollars lost overnight, no justification for the many jails they have and then they would have to tear it down, so they are gunna wait till all of them have invested in it, control the market, and then legalize it fully once they figured out how to replace that populace in our jails. Till then weed will always be illegal, also police department budgets would go down cuz again 80% of drug busts are marijuana.

  25. @jessikarrer2274 on January 4, 2024 at 10:56 pm

It’s not cheaper in the streets because of the sales discounts and deals at dispensaries it’s cheaper to have MMJ cards

  26. @gilbertosandoval9 on January 4, 2024 at 10:56 pm

Because it can’t be completely controlled is the only reason the federal government won’t legalize it

  27. @trig29 on January 4, 2024 at 10:57 pm

Weed is still very much harmful for you. Weed smoking has been linked to heart disease, psychosis, and other mental illnesses. Please, do your research.

  29. @Native2music on January 4, 2024 at 11:02 pm

Wars have been fought for our freedoms and america has become weak. When are the people going to stand up and grow a pair? When are cops going to ask themselves if arresting people for this plant is wrong?

  30. @saltzmann1 on January 4, 2024 at 11:04 pm

Delta 8 is low-grade. If you like more THC get it on the street and pay less.

  31. @donpodlas5546 on January 4, 2024 at 11:04 pm

If this government spent half as much time and effort legalizing weed as they do freaking out about gays and trans folks, this country would be well on it’s way to a debt free existence.. These Republicans are without a doubt, the most dysfunctional and dangerous political party that have ever existed in our government. "The needs of many, outweigh the needs of the few".

A corrupt government who sells their representative office’s to the commercial interests of Wall Street Pharmaceutical Industries can no longer claim they stand for Freedom or Liberty of the people… When Capitalist Entities run a country, that country is run thru fascism and not by a Democracy!!!

The first truth is that the liberty of a democracy is not safe if the people tolerate the growth of private power to a point where it becomes stronger than their democratic state itself. That, in its essence, is Fascism—ownership of Government by an individual, by a group, or by any other controlling private power. FDR 1938

It’s time , it’s the same plant in legal states as it is in illegal states, and all marijuana is medicinal, makes no sense to say “ medical marijuana “ legalize it already across the country

S Congress legalizing Marijuana to give Americans a choice whether to smoke or not is just too much freedom. Congress knows the numbers/percentage they know all of that, and they still take 0 interest in it unless it’s voting time and then they promise the world to everyone who can or can’t hear but like I said they don’t do nothing for Americans with out an agenda

  45. @betweenyellowan_dred on January 4, 2024 at 11:11 pm

When is the Fed just going to roll over and accept that they have lost this battle, people like to smoke cannabis it’s as simple as that. They’re never going to stop to use or the sale of this substance, so why not tax it and make money for themselves, I think it’s a fair compromise.

  49. @Liftupthename on January 4, 2024 at 11:15 pm
