It really bothers me how ricky puts quotation marks around every other word in the vid wtf

  2. @neilouellette3004 on January 7, 2024 at 10:40 pm

I agree with staying away from Over The Counter cannabis penny stocks. I’ve played these for awhile. He is correct. Only play Cannabis Stocks on the NASDAQ Exchange! Cannabis companies listed on the NASDAQ are well invested with smaller takeovers and beverage companies. Like Consolidated Beverages investing and Pepsi and Coca-Cola looking to get into investing with cannabis. Invest into NASDAQ listed WEED STOCKS!! I agree with what he’s saying. Get into it now!

Is the squeeze worth the juice? TILRAY or nah

  5. @trevh1024 on January 7, 2024 at 10:40 pm

These stocks will jump in 2022, so it’s a huge taxable income for the government, and the feds regulate the whole thing. Ive already made over $350 on CGC and ACB.

Pump and dumps are really risky for new traders. Even if you are showing unrealized gain, you can still lose in the rabid sell-off immediately after a positive correction, for say a change in politics. The CBD beverage pump and dump of IGC and NBEV still burns in my mind how pump and dump can turn an apparent winner into a big loss. TLRY is great example too. Stocks like that may be better as very small positions with very generous stop loss and healthy skepticism of their long term value, like Ricky is nailing it.

Thumbs up for the dingleberry joke !

  9. @punac1 on January 7, 2024 at 10:42 pm

Huge reason for the move today, “huge” Secondly, what weed stock is a penny stock?

  10. @thaddeusdigitaljournal3891 on January 7, 2024 at 10:42 pm

I lost 50% of my account back in Oct….it was only $50 lucky me. Learned my lesson on the pump & dump early in my career. Good information, keep the videos coming….maybe one over indicator studies: WeaknessInAStrongTrend…..I find it easier to analyze.

  11. @beaviswealth on January 7, 2024 at 10:49 pm

    Great advice

  12. @tryharder87 on January 7, 2024 at 10:50 pm

As a trader and teacher I can respect the video. Good advice Rickey. 🙂

  13. @tannerdunkle3914 on January 7, 2024 at 10:50 pm

RIcky is correct in one aspect of this video…and that is the day trading tech side of it. Weed stock can be day traded and money can be made. But weed stock at this point should be looked at in a fundamental aspect for the long term. You can not compare the 2 giants ACB and CGC to just about anyone else in the weed stock. These companies have good foundations and are long term….6 months to 5 year holds…maybe even longer.

  14. @nabeelkarapatsakis730 on January 7, 2024 at 10:51 pm

    great video

  15. @AB-lt8my on January 7, 2024 at 10:51 pm

  16. @SupercarEnjoyer on January 7, 2024 at 10:53 pm

Oh shit…. just bought ACB this morning HAHAHAHA
At least it isn’t a weed penny stock, and I’m up.

  17. @dekayalebarney8499 on January 7, 2024 at 10:53 pm

Haha i think he is flippin coins in these on the lowdown ha. I personally think his channel is a market manipulation all together ha you buy when he buys and you sell when he sells… He knows ur pumpin ur portions every morning dont be stupid folks..

  18. @FreeTraderFREEMAN on January 7, 2024 at 10:54 pm

These pot stocks are pumped up then they got dumped.

  19. @SucceedingInFinTech on January 7, 2024 at 10:57 pm

The challenge is what constitutes a “beginner trader”? If you work your way through Ricky’s voluminous content, then paper trade until you have a threshold win/loss ratio (with proper risk management even losing 60% of your trades is, over time, surprising profitable), there is NO WAY you’re a beginner trader. You just see the charts differently than when the noob you started out. It’s weird. It’s like your vision somehow changes. You see things on charts MUCH more clearly and can easily balance that with educated cynicism. That’s a fabulous combination. You become a warrior. The point is, if you go through the trudge of learning, and paper practicing, the standard techniques (e.g. Ricky’s approach which works reasonably well), allow profiting, sometimes handsomely, from cannabis equities as they are basically just like any other equity albeit with a rougher signal-to-noise ratio and typically faster velocities (Stops people…STOPS!). Do the upfront work, then have some fun with your ‘new eyes’.

  20. @AndreMarianoentrepreneur on January 7, 2024 at 10:57 pm

why is ricky naked in this video?
and how is noone talking about this? wtf

  21. @CBEACH on January 7, 2024 at 10:57 pm

Can you cover CRESO PHARMA in a video? I`m trying to figure out if its good or not.

  22. @nordixs on January 7, 2024 at 10:57 pm

TLRY pattern same like bitcoin pattern . what ricky mention is newbie traders should avoid this because hi manipulation , same like crypto space alot newbie trade got rekt on bitmex . but as long u know what u doing and with proper risk management thats fine . btw nice sharing ricky 👍

  23. @richardchiu3719 on January 7, 2024 at 10:59 pm

thank you, Ricky, for the precious advice.

  24. @SYC1996 on January 7, 2024 at 10:59 pm

I was a new investor who made 5000 dollars over the course of 2 months….and then i lost 3000 in about 2 days after the legalization lmao,

  25. @brandonwilson1586 on January 7, 2024 at 10:59 pm

I wish I had seen this a few days ago….

  26. @campingforayearrenoheart5908 on January 7, 2024 at 10:59 pm

Dude great info , pump and dump , people love the fomo

  27. @KSneed9 on January 7, 2024 at 11:00 pm

Didn’t cannabis stocks shoot up after Jeff Sessions got fired

  28. @eml-gf2bj on January 7, 2024 at 11:00 pm

Differentiate from a MJ penny stock and a MJ stock that is not a penny stock, they are all not penny stocks. You can’t refer to the MJ market as a pump and dump….RIGHT? Some directly follow SPY. This is typical youtube click bait, RIGHT? Nothing more, nothing less, RIGHT? If you disagree then that’s fine, it’s just a general statement just like saying MJ is pumpndump. Bordering on numerous preachings against subjugation, which is not done here….supposedly. Much more noteworthy when the guidance is focused more on this is a different type of market that LPP does not focus on. Simple as that…….RIGHT? Just guide others to other speakers that focus on the MJ market and this is just not a focus for your channel (ryhmes with cartguys but think of charts). RIGHT?

  29. @thomasharrison4004 on January 7, 2024 at 11:02 pm

Which link is for the trade group?

  30. @flexico1670 on January 7, 2024 at 11:03 pm

See what I’m confused about though is that sense weed is becoming more widely legal won’t weed stocks just keep going up? Is it possible to invest in a weed stock for a long term? I’ve just opened an E*TRADE account and I’m trying to learn more about trading so excuse my ignorance. Also what is paper trading? And I thought pump and dump was a thing only in the wolf of wall street 😂

  31. @peopleprankingpeople8906 on January 7, 2024 at 11:04 pm

I agree with it I just turned 18 three weeks ago and started trading stocks because of Ricky. I did make 300 dollars today off of TLRY but I got into it because of the hype around it. I was lucky I made money on it today.

  32. @trevh1024 on January 7, 2024 at 11:05 pm

    O yeah
    I am a beginner. Lol

  33. @fuzzywuzzy3841 on January 7, 2024 at 11:05 pm

I wish you made this video yesterday. Lost 200 on cgc today. Discouraged me from trading, but I am re watching LPP.

  34. @xuereb2867 on January 7, 2024 at 11:06 pm

Buy weed stock just put a stop loss and wait for a good signal to enter!! just like any other stock.

  35. @SameeK on January 7, 2024 at 11:07 pm

trading and actually buying the stock to hold is very different. im a forex trader mainly but end of the day if you have you risk managed and you have a setup that follows your strategy it should not matter what asset class or product you are trading.

  36. @skol4031 on January 7, 2024 at 11:08 pm

So maybe I’m wrong I’m a very new trader but I thought the weed stocks were a sound investment because democrats just won the house and the possibility for weed to be legalized is higher than ever. And while I personally don’t support this from a trader standpoint I saw this as money to make that isn’t a huge risk

  37. @James-lg9nb on January 7, 2024 at 11:09 pm

    Thank you ricky!

  38. @trentongray4996 on January 7, 2024 at 11:12 pm

5:39 Best part of the video.

  39. @911SuzieQ on January 7, 2024 at 11:16 pm

Just like any stock risk management is important.. the cannabis industry IS rising tho .. because it’s being legalized in alot of places . Penny stocks i discourage cannabis stocks i won’t discourage.. its the same homework you have to do if you triage , DGAZ, JNUG etc etc …

  40. @DoggieNYC on January 7, 2024 at 11:17 pm

Weed stocks is what got me interested in trading to begin with. Since I started trading a few months ago I’ve invested primarily in weed stocks and come out ahead. Mostly all Canada based companies. I’ve averaged pretty much a 7% return. It’s a hot market and from what I can tell, when swing trading, what you want it is a hot market otherwise the stock tends to sit there. And right now weed stocks are hot.

  41. @ryanmcadam1 on January 7, 2024 at 11:17 pm

I agree, weed stocks are a complete fad right now, it’s like bitcoin where everyone sees value and says its gonna shoot to the moon but eventually it will fall. And weed stocks are risky you dont really know what will happen

  42. @THEREALGPHRESH on January 7, 2024 at 11:18 pm

Im a long term investor so I disagree

  43. @sillywilly6431 on January 7, 2024 at 11:18 pm

Ive lost 1500 over the past 6 months in "weed" stocks.

  44. @jonathanazor3333 on January 7, 2024 at 11:19 pm

u had me at it’s a bad idea for beginners

  45. @smokestaxx7479 on January 7, 2024 at 11:23 pm

Dont get caught up in FOLO when it comes to using your money for investing.

  46. @bartvanwagenveld5708 on January 7, 2024 at 11:26 pm

did you become rich because of the stock market?

  47. @lesurgie7742 on January 7, 2024 at 11:27 pm

i really needed to hear this…thank u ricky. i actually broke even today with cgc

  48. @nine_diamonds8230 on January 7, 2024 at 11:30 pm

i really want to learn Trading!

  49. @motocrossking84able on January 7, 2024 at 11:31 pm

Facts…i used a virtual investment app to invest in cannopy and my investment just kept falling 😂

Its common sense tho because weed companies in america cannot legally bank thier cash!

If i could invest in canadas weed industry…it would be great

I usually invest in companies that i use….like Take two interactive..(Rockstar Games)

Ive always came up 25% with them

  50. @DeparturesCapital on January 7, 2024 at 11:36 pm

I cover the Cannabis market daily and this is great advice!!
