Day 2 quitting after 10 years smoking weed everyday. I’ve just been physically sick and struggling to sleep tonight. The nights are the worst and tonight is harder than last night.
I’m mentally determined to be the best version of myself so psychologically don’t want it but the physical and no sleep really sucks.
Wish me luck with kicking this habit!

Who tryna be my Get sober buddy

  5. @deltafreshrelics1660 on January 15, 2024 at 11:55 pm

I smoked weed daily for 22 years. I’m 36. I’m 16 days sober and my withdrawal is gone at about day 10. Talk about misery. I lost all appetite for a couple weeks. Had crazy nightmares. And had a hard time regulating my body temp.

  6. @aragorntjuh on January 15, 2024 at 11:55 pm

    I used to smoke about 1-2g a day for nearly a decade. For me the symptoms were as follows;
First two weeks absolutely miserable, unable to sleep, sweating heavily, depressed, extremely bored. Past 2 weeks; boredom continues, feeling of wanting to consume starts to fade slowly. 3 ish months after quitting boredom fades away, no significant desire to smoke weed unless drunk, acceptance that it was a negative influence. Right now it’s been about 3 years and compared to 3 months after quitting there’s little difference. I still feel a desire to smoke weed when drunk but that’s about it. If you’re really looking to quit it’s mainly about those first two weeks as for my experience.

  7. @taojay7even2414 on January 16, 2024 at 12:01 am

I don’t have any of those symptoms after not smoking. But if you haven’t started smoking weed don’t because once you do it’s so hard to quit maybe that’s a personal thing from smoking so long but still you can get hooked on it like everything else

  8. @mattmmilli8287 on January 16, 2024 at 12:01 am

🤔 I really need a break. Just for a bit

  9. @ernestatwood2787 on January 16, 2024 at 12:02 am

I don’t have any of that. Yay for me lol. I just quit cigarettes too almost 2 months ago. Of course I only smoked about a half a pack a day and I probably smoke three to four of those little glass hitters a day of some 50% s***. The good stuff induced sprinkled with yummy goodness. Damn I want to go smoke a bowl now

  10. @CrypticCatalystxd on January 16, 2024 at 12:03 am

after 1y still i lost short term memory significally

  11. @charmaynewarner6206 on January 16, 2024 at 12:04 am

I have been smoking since March and withdrawal in October, but I have really bad anxiety haven’t smoke since

  12. @BunsenMusic on January 16, 2024 at 12:05 am

Withdrawal is surprisingly garbage for what you’d expect with marijuana. Smoked everyday for about 15 years.. took a day or 2 off and started feeling misssserable.

  13. @otnielaponte9283 on January 16, 2024 at 12:05 am

I’m 5’11 and I weigh 197lb I use to smoke heavy, about a eighthy a day then little by little I began to slow down until it was only 1 g a day. I smoked 1 joint a day for about 2 months then I just quit cold turkey. Last joint was on Mew Years Eve. Due to my weight, would it still be possible for me to detox within 2-3 weeks or would I have to wait longer? (GENERALLY)

  17. @YourMotherForReal on January 16, 2024 at 12:09 am

Heavy heavy daily user, very strong edibles oils etc., quit cold turkey at the right time in my life, no withdrawal just freedom. It has no power over me.

  18. @Bubby448 on January 16, 2024 at 12:10 am

Not true. It’s takes a solid two months or longer.

  19. @myumayo on January 16, 2024 at 12:12 am

Question for those who’ve been sober for a while now: when did your appetite come back?

I’m struggling so hard with eating now that I’m sober😭

  25. @Alex-mu7qb on January 16, 2024 at 12:19 am

  26. @iAmSeriousBaylis on January 16, 2024 at 12:19 am

  28. @pulverize3 on January 16, 2024 at 12:23 am

He’s a plant from big lumber. It’s not toxic. If you can’t handle your shit don’t make false claims, just dont smoke.

  29. @rwirtz77 on January 16, 2024 at 12:23 am

with weed, just do it once or twice a year, like if someone hands you a joint, don’t get addicted its not worth it, it goes from a cool expierience to you being a drug addict. Caffiene can be the same, i quit caffiene and im so glad i did.

  30. @londoninusa on January 16, 2024 at 12:24 am

Going through it right now 5th day feel real angry at everything and everyone

  31. @TheRenegade2424 on January 16, 2024 at 12:25 am

  32. @Tenebrous227 on January 16, 2024 at 12:26 am

Been high for 31 years now & mine is from a medical dispensary. I have ptsd & chronic depression so thank god for marijuana or i wouldn’t have any quality of life

  33. @steelyburt on January 16, 2024 at 12:27 am

    I was waiting for a punchline…

  34. @williammcknight5419 on January 16, 2024 at 12:30 am

People stop listening to these idiots. Ive smoked chronically for 30 years. I quit because of insomnia and a sinus allergy to smoke that ive realized is affecting my ability to sleep. Im 12days in, none of these symtons are happening. There is not a physical addiction, there is a mental habbit. These doctors dont understand a thing about the human body and how it works. If you want to quit for whatever reason, then pull the trigger stop being a victim and quit. Its not booze or heroin. This giy wants to put you on something that you will get addicted to.

  35. @Dzx.d on January 16, 2024 at 12:30 am

  36. @tbhlul1666 on January 16, 2024 at 12:31 am

im on day 3 of quitting. this sucks

  37. @FraserCalan on January 16, 2024 at 12:31 am

I’ve quit weed for months on end and picked it back up over the years, any information on why when I first went on tolerance breaks I would get awful nights sweats and now I don’t get them anymore when I’m off the smoke ?

  38. @RonnDawg on January 16, 2024 at 12:31 am

The last time I tried to ask for help for marijuana use disorder, I was scoffed at like it’s NBD. Good advice to seek professional guidance but it’s not readily available for everybody. I know it’s cliché, but it’s a mindset thing mind over matter.

  39. @wellackchyually on January 16, 2024 at 12:31 am

i smoked super heavy and quit cold turkey and my anxiety is lwoer than its been in years and no headaches and i sleep better.

  40. @Voclas_El_Malevolo on January 16, 2024 at 12:32 am

I didn’t even mean to stop haha, I just been focusing on other things but man the no sleep part got me tired af, I’m about 4 days in, 2 where I literally could not get any sleep and 2 where I got about 5 hour in, it’s about 4am rn on my 5th day still trying get some sleep💀 the first like 3 days without it tho shi I slept like a baby 😂. I’m kinda debating if I should go without it for the long run, I means thing gotta/get done with or without it either way. What do y’all think? What’s your honest opinion

  41. @deegekk-cz2uh on January 16, 2024 at 12:34 am
