Schedule III Marijuana Legalization News

🌿 **”Schedule III Marijuana Legalization News”** 🌿

🎥 In today’s episode, we dive into the groundbreaking news that could transform the cannabis landscape in the United States! 🇺🇸🔍 Attorney General Merrick Garland has proposed moving marijuana from Schedule I to Schedule III. This historic shift won’t legalize cannabis but will ease research barriers and potentially boost the cannabis industry’s bottom line. 📉➡️📈

What does this mean? 🤔 Marijuana, currently lumped with drugs like heroin for its “high abuse potential and no accepted medical use,” could join substances like ketamine, recognized for medical use with a lower abuse potential. This change could reduce the hefty tax burdens under IRS Code 280E, allowing cannabis businesses to claim deductions and lower their tax rates significantly! 💰📊

But, there’s a twist! While this reclassification would aid research and business, it doesn’t fully deregulate cannabis or address all the challenges facing the industry. The FDA might still impose strict regulations, especially on recreational use. 🚫🌱

Stay tuned as we explore what these proposed changes mean for patients, consumers, and businesses. What are your thoughts on these potential changes? Drop your comments below! 🗨️✨

*Love* this channel so grateful for the critical and frequently essential news of the scene/industry.
Please remove & reprimand if this is not cool to do:
but are you familiar with the YT channel ‘Why Files’ the host is funny and was oddly familiar, turns out he is or was involved in the cannabis industry.
Also I really would love to share some of my chill/zen cannabinoid music_

Biden needs to hurry up because I don’t think he will be potus much longer

  8. @ddrowdy2 on May 18, 2024 at 2:10 pm

The only thing it will change is…..if you get caught with pot now, you get the additional charge of impersonating a doctor.

I love that you guys addressed the DUI issue in this episode. It’s a really tough and complex issue that isn’t addressed enough. Tom said, "the difference between driving down the street smoking a joint versus using medically 20 minutes ago" in reference to this issue…and I think that really hits the nail on the head. There are a lot of daily users who would like to be able to drive to work and back knowing they are not at constant risk of getting an essentially sober DUI.

As a weed stock investor… Schedule three is perfect because the weed stays in the hands of government and Wall Street. That means no free market competition. Because let’s face the facts… If the free market was able to get into the weed industry, the MSOs would be out of business. So many times people were stuck with garbage they would not go back. They would go to the Hawaiian grower or the California triangle grower. So let’s all be thankful that schedule three is here. They could keep growing that garbage and sell it to the sheep while we all profit. But let’s not smoke that.Stuff… That weed is for sheep 🐑 not for investors.

Is it true that the Hawaiian snowcone has limonene and growth hormone and GMO? Those are my favorite Turpines from the dispensary.
I can’t wait to go again to have my drivers license recorded so they could sell my information to my auto insurance company. So what if my auto insurance doubled in price. I get to smoke government weed and that’s what matters.

  28. @dolphinride5157 on May 18, 2024 at 2:30 pm

Marijuana should be as legal as tomatoes. It was not made illegal in the first place because of any real danger. It was made illegal as a law enforcement tool to go after people they couldn’t go after for any other reasons. It has been used against blacks, hippies, war protesters, and anyone else they chose to abuse. The main reason to move it to schedule 3, in my opinion, is so the govt and big business can control it and profit from it. I hate the people (or should I say tyrants) who have done this to otherwise law-abiding Americans.

  31. @BarnCatsandGoldenRetrievers on May 18, 2024 at 2:34 pm

Every show is at at least 10 minutes of you guys patting yourselves on the back for obtaining a cannabis license.

Congratulations go Peoria, go Illinois, go Miggy, go Tom!

You guys have your place I mean there’s nothing like Tom’s breakdown of the legal stuff it’s top-notch but when you guys get into the petty politics of everything, it’s a big turn off. Then the pettiness with The Dales Report. They don’t claim to be lawyers they claim to be investors, which is what they are who bring on experts to talk about MJ. They have a great show too. You guys would have a perfect show. If it wasn’t for the petty politics nonsense. I can get anywhere.

When I’m trying to obtain a consensus to gain support for MJ I try not to alienate anyone who’s on board with less restrictive cannabis laws so I’m going to go out of my way to treat them as friends for the cause even if they have an R or D by their name.

I’m a cannabis consumer 20 year military veteran pretty straightforward conservative but I believe in the medicine, but you guys make me feel like you don’t want me on your team. No I personally don’t care. I’m not butt hurt, but I would like to see less restrictive cannabis laws going forward and the best way to do that is to welcome everyone even if they have an R by their name.

Call me crazy for wanting less divisiveness but I realize you can’t take the partisan out of everyone.

  32. @davesteier-xf5lh on May 18, 2024 at 2:35 pm

lol because it’s more valuable than our $

It doesn’t even meet its own criteria and that, by law, makes it already exempt.

FTP. This place is going down. GL in the future.

  33. @thegrandbastard2816 on May 18, 2024 at 2:38 pm

What is the legal argument for cannabis use as an individual right to use or refuse. As a right that belongs neither to the Federal or State governments nor requires the prescription or recommendation of a doctor.

In every single legal status, the individual has a clear right to refuse but we have yet to fully claim our right to choose.

What is not enumerated to the federal government belongs to the state OR The Individual.

  34. @Ram-Jo on May 18, 2024 at 2:38 pm

All the industry should come together. There is no need for unhealthy competition there is enough money and watch time for everyone.

  35. @user-nc7xr8us7n on May 18, 2024 at 2:43 pm

The price of cannabis is expensive, it’s because it’s illegal, all these tax is a way to take from the working class. The answer is home grow for all 21 and older unregistered, unregulated, unlimited, unmolested un taxed. This is a gift from god that was taken gen 129. This will stop the greed, arguments, black market, taxs, incarceration. Period

  36. @JRod12511 on May 18, 2024 at 2:43 pm

Saying cannabis is a gateway drug is like saying beer is a gateway to liquor. Federal legalization has to happen so that adults in one state are not segregated from adults in another state from cannabis.

  37. @kushsdotcom1473 on May 18, 2024 at 2:45 pm

  38. @bellabonnie3141 on May 18, 2024 at 2:46 pm

500000 people die from tobacco in the US each year. Marijuana should not be scheduled and legal for 21+

  39. @Soldierinthegarden on May 18, 2024 at 2:46 pm

Why is ther always a snake in the grass somewhere? Ugh!

  40. @6jdhd on May 18, 2024 at 2:49 pm

So all you guys that are 2 amendment fans. You don’t know is having or being in a position of cannabis and having a fire arm is a federal crime and you can do jail time and won’t be able to have a firearm ever again.

  41. @tacvolun3570 on May 18, 2024 at 2:49 pm

Trulieve cannabis is currently the biggest money in the game.
They have been writing the laws in the states that have legalized pror to legalization so they will trying to do the same with the feds I believe?
As far as taxing and regulating a plant, we must remember that many many meds are made from plants. This is NOT an unusual thing for some plants to already be illegal to grow.

  42. @Edward-THC on May 18, 2024 at 2:51 pm

Schedule III by NO means = legalization…

  43. @BernardMaliko-sq2dd on May 18, 2024 at 2:53 pm

My biggest concern is quality control I’m concerned THEY will be putting other things in weed

  44. @necrosaro710 on May 18, 2024 at 2:54 pm

Its election time, what do you expect. Its a shell game.

  45. @Davefinney370 on May 18, 2024 at 2:55 pm

Thank GOD the Feds are retaining control. This way they can show up, get in there, tinker with this, tax that. Ruin some folks, make others outrageously rich. Confiscate whole crops that are somehow not compliant and burn it in front of slobbering legacy media cameras. New insider trading ops for Congress. Republicans can stomp, feign outrage, and do nothing while AOC finds the nearest camera, makes crazy eyes and declares it’s all due to Global Warming…

They’ve demonstated their expertise for over 80 years, why change horses now?

  46. @eversinceforeverbass on May 18, 2024 at 2:57 pm

Us CDL drivers need people like you to steer us in a direction where we can convince the DOT to loosen their rules on cannabis. Whether they can test for acute intoxication or not… it is NOT fair that we can’t use this plant as a medicine when we are off the clock.

  47. @xxsoulscarxxfart3254 on May 18, 2024 at 2:57 pm

Does this mean you’ll be able to get cannabis all across America like Alabama?

  48. @richardkato on May 18, 2024 at 2:57 pm

Hey buddy I just did what you were going to do your next video or something or sometime in your next video I had some thca I put it behind the TV where the vents are I got a Roku TV I tell you what the flavor and the stickiness was almost there I should have left it another day but I only left it for like 8 hours and purple punch taste like purple punch now

  49. @legacycannabisfarm6382 on May 18, 2024 at 2:59 pm

Ok market has an provision that will allow interstate commerce to other medical states once federal legislation happen or in this case sheadule 3 passes
