Several Illinois recreational marijuana dispensaries were closed Monday, with some owners saying strong demand has caused a shortage in supplies and staff exhaustion.
This is a scam , people will be paying $500 an oz for IL grown WOWIE KOZOWIE ragweed .I’ve seen it in other states they make up these goofy names .I’d take the old fashioned Colombian Gold anyday , what they grow here is GMO ragweed . This stuff isn’t worth more than $50 an oz and thats with the state taking their profit .Plus there would be non GMO seed in it . You can tell the difference when you smoke it ,they grow the real stuff there, Heck we could get Afgan farmers to grow it since we’re already there ,I guarantee it would be better and NO SUPPLY trouble.

Illinois law makers just didn’t know how many stoners live in state… 1.5 dispensaries per 100,000 residents (that’s less than 1/10th the availability that other states began with). I’ve had a gut feeling that somewhere in all this, some individuals are benefiting greatly from only a handful of companies (dispensaries/cultivators) that are getting a huge head start in the game. There won’t be much competing going on, the companies currently allowed to operate are going to soak in some of the $20,000,000 in sales before other companies are even allowed to open their doors.
