Louisiana is backwards. They want you to Smoke cigarettes and drink alcohol it’s better for your health.

Prohibition and Reefer Madness are only pushed and believed by a very small, lunatic-fringe minority of irrational mental midgets on a never ending little personal moral-crusade and witch-hunt against relatively benign cannabis and it’s consumers. The rest of us sane, rational, normal Americans just laugh our butts off at and mock utterly desperate lying prohibitionists and their rediculious Reefer-Madness-Rhetoric as the comedy show they truly are!..

This law also makes regular old cbd oil illegal , because it has teeny tiny amounts of THC in it. That would make Louisana susceptible to lawsuits because the federal government and the DEA are two agency’s that won’t criminalize CBD or rewrite their laws on CBD just because Louisiana does., *so anyone who sues the state over regular cbd that contains less than 0.3% would win in federal court every single time.*

At the gas station in my hometown is an entire wall from ceiling to floor full of beer. Another wall is jammed from top to bottom with hard liquor and all kinds of tobacco products. The center of the store has a big counter set up for all types of coffee. Every kind of junk imaginable food is available there. Behind the counter is a sign between the whiskey and the chewing tobacco with a marijuana leaf and a circle with a slash that states "this is a drug free environment."

Legalize federally now. What’s legal to possess and consume in over half of the populated areas of The United States should not make you a criminal in states still being governed by woefully ignorant prohibitionist politicians. Cannabis consumers in all states deserve and demand equal rights and protections under our laws that are currently afforded to the drinkers of far more dangerous and deadly, yet perfectly legal, widely accepted, endlessly advertised and even glorified as an All-American pastime, alcohol. Plain and simple! Legalize Nationwide Federally Now!…

?so,change the label from thc to thca ,I thought that was the point of the so-called farm bill, leave the cannabis along, alcohol products have caused problems for years, but y’all have to mess with a cannabis plant😡😏⁉

  9. @hammyhamhamster5993 on July 12, 2024 at 7:11 pm

Cannabis should be absolutely just as legal and easy to obtain anywhere as alcohol currently is. In every single state. No exceptions. It’s so easy: As legal and easy to obtain/use as alcohol currently is. Why hold relatively benign, often healing cannabis to any sort of irrational, stricter double standard than perfectly legal alcohol?…….

but you can buy a handle of jack daniels at any gas station

    Backed by the alcohol industry

  12. @MalcolmThompson-rc1nb on July 12, 2024 at 7:28 pm

Looks like they want to regulate products that contain thc so they can get their ‘well deserved’ cut. smh
    Politics…

We have Medical Marijuana in our state. It’s grown by two State Universities and heavily regulated

  14. @X_crypto1977 on July 12, 2024 at 7:30 pm

Why are you not figuring out how to fairly tax it versus axing it from the market? I’m 100% positive our state could use the money for education endowments.

Presley is on many committees that need more attention than this. Caddo and DeSoto Parishes are two of the most irrelevant in Louisiana!
