About Bruce Lee (source Wikipedia):

Bruce Lee was a Hong Kong and American martial artist, martial arts instructor, actor, director, screenwriter, producer, and philosopher. He was the founder of Jeet Kune Do, a hybrid martial arts philosophy drawing from different combat disciplines that is often credited with paving the way for modern mixed martial arts (MMA). Lee is considered by critics, media, and other martial artists to be the most influential martial artist of all time and a pop culture icon of the 20th century, who bridged the gap between East and West. He is credited with promoting Hong Kong action cinema and helping to change the way Asians were presented in American films.

  7. @abelingaw5070 on September 14, 2024 at 6:38 pm

And this move evolved in MMA as the spinning back fist.

Seen fights where it make fighter win.

  8. @ajtlim on September 14, 2024 at 6:38 pm

  14. @danielvazquez3885 on September 14, 2024 at 6:45 pm

Jackie chan said once that during a film bruce lee accidentaly hit him pretty hard.
Bruce lee was really concerned and took care of him, thing is,jackie recovered easily,he was just pretending so his biggest idol would check on him between takes and speak with him jajajajajajaja
    Cant blame him

  15. @lyomon9981 on September 14, 2024 at 6:47 pm

  19. @NathanielsAutisticShorts on September 14, 2024 at 6:52 pm

This channel is getting me want to learn Martial Arts and get into better shape. Thank God for Bruce Lee

  20. @edi9892 on September 14, 2024 at 6:54 pm

Personally, I feel that short backhand strikes develop less power than hammerfists in similar situations. However, the longer back fist can still come surprisingly fast from a regular guard.

  21. @Tony-p6o on September 14, 2024 at 6:55 pm

I’m curious about Bruce lees one inch punch and would love to see Fattaah explain it

  22. @misterstuffs97 on September 14, 2024 at 6:56 pm

Fun fact: the first guy you can see Bruce Lee fight is actually a young up comming Jackie Chan

  23. @MAGMALORD360 on September 14, 2024 at 6:56 pm

This is one of the drills we do most in the NY Martial Arts Academy for example one combo is Straight Lead, Backfist.

  24. @camiloiribarren1450 on September 14, 2024 at 6:57 pm

Love hearing Fattaah’s explanations on this move. Very nice.

  25. @adamryamizard5560 on September 14, 2024 at 7:00 pm

I love this technique and i keep training it always.
Anyhow, can you do pros and cons of Optimus prime dual blades in Transformers revenge of the fallen? Seems interesting there.

  26. @EzekielOconnor on September 14, 2024 at 7:02 pm

  28. @Tototoron on September 14, 2024 at 7:04 pm

I think any good, self respecting pimp understands the power of a good backhand

  29. @justas423 on September 14, 2024 at 7:04 pm

I wonder why Bruce Lee, a guy who learned from the Real Ip Man (Shady), has a good Wing Chun Back Fist.

  30. @logangoad3982 on September 14, 2024 at 7:05 pm

I will never understood why more people dont use backfist strikes. The karate version works beautifully in so many positions

  31. @GerardoGutierrezGonzalez on September 14, 2024 at 7:06 pm

Is it a figth ender or something to open the guard?

  32. @quixotecroc on September 14, 2024 at 7:07 pm

  38. @zaidamien2743 on September 14, 2024 at 7:12 pm

Question, do you have a view how come we don’t see this backfist technique much in UFC and MMA in general?

  39. @ismount on September 14, 2024 at 7:14 pm

  42. @ninjabiatch101 on September 14, 2024 at 7:17 pm

Plus Bruce Lee could do it so fast you’d be dazed before you even realize what just happened. Opening you up for quite the ass whoopin. Lol.

  43. @dano9657 on September 14, 2024 at 7:18 pm

I didn’t realize my mom was channeling Bruce Lee, growing up. I’m already on the floor, and I haven’t even been hit.
