Let’s all be honest here: @1:08 is an insult. The developers and artists and sound designers etc aren’t the issue here. It’s the head that needs to roll and be demoted so they can relearn their strategies.

So baldurs gate 3 cost 100m with all the crap in that game. And somehow they spent 400m to design a dozen characters and a few levels. . .
I streamed the whole of the credits. I cheered and let off fireworks. You could zoom in, pause on names, and speed the scroll.
40 Minutes of credits i think it shows how much ego this people have, and is part of the reason of why they put so much hope in this game
I’m not sure why the Elden Ring and Black Myth Wukong credits are so short. Most video game credits I’ve seen have come out to 30 minutes fo an hour long.

Sony got milked so hard. There’s absolutely no way these ppl worked on the game for 8 years, 40 hours/weeks.
So Concord might be a case of "to many cooks ruin a dish" to many talentless people have put their salt into this dish.
This solidified that these industry layoffs are 100% justified. From my perspective the gaming industry needed to downsize for years now. Remember, some of your favorite games were made by dudes in tiny offices with pentiums…
I could make better game with 10 million
I like watching credits for a game I really enjoyed if only to give respect to the people who made it. Not once have I ever seen an option to "cheer" or "celebrate" in the credits of any game I’ve beaten. That is a new level of self-fellation right there. The audacity that these people would implement a way to have their egos boosted…Frankly, it explains alot.

There might be a difference in scroll speed which leads to different credit lengths, but I don’t want to defend that garbage.
Honestly the mention of @1:08 is an insult to developers. The issue isn’t the development team. Concords art is amazing. The issue are the heads that need to roll and be demoted.
Man I remember when people complained about Star Wars Kinect having 22 minute long credits…but that’s because they literally hired a different company to do every mini-game. So it’s like…5 credits sequences at once. It was justified. THIS IS NOT.
It’s the HR bloat. So many useless teams get stuck on these projects just to suck money out of them

Looks like they EITHER needed to hire a bunch of outsiders to fix their crap, or the company was so fucked up, that they had a revolving door of devs going in and out.
If it has a ton of managers/leads/directors etc. , chances are it means the leadership was fucked up and they kept on leaving because of unreasonable stakeholders (the people in charge of the project/company).
Can also mean a studio filled with unproductive, undisciplined or inexperienced hacks so they needed to keep hiring more people but that ofc doesn’t fix shit.
Either way, this is 100% on the company’s leadership.

About the comparison: we need to make sure the speed is the same, also the font size. It could be longer because it’s slower.

Man, Bloodstained ROTN has about the same credits duration, but the difference is that Bloodstained is good (and can be speed up, beside for some reason the developers don’t let you know that).
