News flash! People who are gonna smoke weed, are gonna smoke weed, regardless whether it is legal or not. They (the government) must make more money off putting people in jail and on probation than they do off taxing legal marijuana. Also, claiming there will be a hike in crime because people are smoking weed is completely ludicrous… The only crime I’m gonna be committing is raiding my fridge…. 🤦🏻‍♂️

  2. @joethomas9574 on October 11, 2024 at 8:37 pm

This is bullshit and shouldn’t happen, the politicians can’t figure out how to solve the problem

  3. @YourMomsHouse-zu8ob on October 11, 2024 at 8:38 pm

All for adult use – only if LEGALIZING WEED – INCLUDING HOME GROW – otherwise I’ll vote against it and I’ve been in the weed Industry since 99 this is a plot to corner the market and put patients in a strong hold not being allowed to grow a plant …….

  4. @jbfins1 on October 11, 2024 at 8:40 pm

I’m for having natural medicine for people to get away from pharmaceuticals. Big pharma is what’s hurting our citizens. I understand both sides of the situation. Time to make America Healthy and Great Again!!!

  5. @velmaspeelman5985 on October 11, 2024 at 8:41 pm

If you can’t grow at least 2 plants screw legalization. I have a medical condition and use the dispensary and pay no taxes!

  6. @mikesmile4188 on October 11, 2024 at 8:45 pm

I agree with you. I don’t want to smell weed everywhere. I don’t want to pop on a drug test as I did as a cop when I did undercover work. It’s very easy to pop just smelling it. What about my rights if not have to smell it. They talk about alcohol. But I don’t have to smell it. Lastly my spouse is dealt allergic to it so does that mean I can sue whoever smoke it around us when she lands in the hospital.

  7. @jugglesdimensions8632 on October 11, 2024 at 8:45 pm

Not making provisions for an individual to grow it is bullshit.

  8. @wrongfullyaccused7139 on October 11, 2024 at 8:45 pm

    The amendment is a con.

  9. @fatronjones on October 11, 2024 at 8:47 pm

Legalize it. Make DeSantis cry again.

  10. @MichaelSchlink-kf3xt on October 11, 2024 at 8:51 pm

Morgan and Morgan are behind this amendment. They stand to make big profits if it passes. Vote NO

  11. @CharlesHarvey-n6f on October 11, 2024 at 8:51 pm

DiSanto don’t want it to be legal because it takes away from his alcohol abuse

  12. @JohnnyJenkins on October 11, 2024 at 8:52 pm

It’s ridiculous to conclude that marijuanna is the reason these liberal states are suffering. It’s their many other liberal policies. We have a lot of problems with our culture, progressive liberalism but weed and psychedelics are not.

  13. @Winterfellen on October 11, 2024 at 8:53 pm

As a moderate Republican I am voting for the legalization of Marijuana. I’m tired of feeling like a criminal if I want to smoke a plant that makes me calm and want to play video games meanwhile drugs such as alcohol and pain medication are fine in this state. It’s utter lunacy and I’m tired of it. Anti-marijuana laws are from a bygone era and are simply laughable once researching why they banned it. It would make our state billions and it’s a natural drug from the earth. God literally put in on earth for us if you are religiously inclined. End this ancient era lunacy already. It also makes it safer for people who are experimenting. Kids are going to try marijuana no matter if you like it or not. I’d rather them smoke safe and tested marijuana than something possibly laced with fentanyl.

Tired of the boomers controlling how we should all be living. Their views on this particular topic are outdated. It’s 1000x less harmless than drinking culture.

  14. @Bubba0118 on October 11, 2024 at 8:53 pm

i think flordia has an opportunity to legalize marijuana in a meaningful and different way unlike other states.

  15. @redburban1394 on October 11, 2024 at 8:54 pm

Something they don’t tell you in Florida’s legal cannabis bill. That if you decide to grow your own cannabis, it will be illegal even if you have one plant. The companies that want legal cannabis, don’t want any competition. They are kinda like companies stores. And Governor DeSantis should care what the people of Florida think & want ! He’s there for the people of Florida and not some billionaire who thinks cannabis is going to corrupt society. How much do want to bet either he uses cannabis or has money in some kind of adult beverage company. Cause cannabis is taking a BIG bite out of the alcohol industry.

  16. @velmaspeelman5985 on October 11, 2024 at 8:54 pm

Alcohol and nicotine should be illegal too. They actually kill people!

  17. @XMON888 on October 11, 2024 at 8:56 pm

    But no home grow lmao

  18. @take5th on October 11, 2024 at 8:58 pm

If politicians can figure out a way to corner enough of the profit, it will pass. Florida has experience doing just that. Took them two votes (passed the first time but they found wording issues to cause a re-vote) last time, then two years to get all the transparency out of the process. lol. Maybe they will be better at that this time around.

  19. @donaldcollins7866 on October 11, 2024 at 8:59 pm

When it’s legalized I will grow my own. No card. No tax.

  20. @arthurtracy1126 on October 11, 2024 at 9:03 pm

Law doesn’t help. Doesn’t say where you can smoke it. And you still can’t grow your own. I can’t afford to go to a dispensary every day. You got carry a jar everywhere You go to Prove where You bought it. And You can’t share. A few rich people will get richer and poor will get poorer. Given all control to the dispensary. And I still wouldn’t be able to smoke. And if your a gun owner would still b a problem. until they also agrees to change the gun laws. You have to turn in your guns if you bought weed. your not allowed to own a firearm and smoke. I never meet a violent pot head. I’m voting NO! until I’m allowed to smoke my own weed and buy a gun. Sorry guys this isn’t good enough.

  21. @dhoover5480 on October 11, 2024 at 9:03 pm

They say weed is the gateway drug – I disagree, it’s alcohol and cigarettes. All 3 should be legal or none of them should be available in stores

  22. @jamiekuchma on October 11, 2024 at 9:06 pm

You messed up Ron Republicans…..smoke too

  32. @lisad6106 on October 11, 2024 at 9:18 pm

A big NO from this Floridian. I have never met anyone who made good decisions for themselves while smoking dope every day. Its a dumb down drug.

  33. @sebell69 on October 11, 2024 at 9:19 pm

no matter if we legalize it the legislative of Florida will manage to add some pole tax or other jim crow taxes to it! Just like they did with the voting right return to ex felons!
We need to NOT only MAKE IT LEGAL BUT GET RID OF THE RQP GOVERNANCE all together!!

  34. @stormvillians on October 11, 2024 at 9:19 pm

  35. @eaglehead1 on October 11, 2024 at 9:20 pm

  36. @moviesforrandy on October 11, 2024 at 9:21 pm

keep the rich richer and the poor poorer.

  37. @Robertmooneyham on October 11, 2024 at 9:22 pm

Read all of the facts about the new law. They have lots of rules to keep you buying it from the state so the can price it out of reach for lots of people!! You won’t be able to grow at home either!!

  38. @jeremyetsobi1931 on October 11, 2024 at 9:23 pm

There are 125 prisons in the state of Florida. There are 50 counties in the state of Florida. There’s also 21 private institutions. Florida is a prison state marijuana is used to push violations of Probation’s to fill prisons even if they vote on it it’s not gonna happen. They make too much money locking up Black people.

  48. @RoryCoop-vb1un on October 11, 2024 at 9:30 pm

Im an advocate for legalized marijuana but not under these circumstances, big business will put a monopoly on marijuana and they will set the very high prices and no you will not be able to grow it yourself , oh they say well you could get a license to grow it , Shure if you got thousands of dollars, we need a better bill , what if the corn companies said they can grow and sell corn but you cant grow a supposed legal plant , and at their costs a jont will set you back twenty bucks , well with this wonderful economy i guess that fits right in

  49. @jamiekuchma on October 11, 2024 at 9:31 pm

    Screw big pharma

  50. @Cantgetusernam on October 11, 2024 at 9:32 pm

I will be voting no. If the bill allow people to grow limited amount of plants for their own use I would vote yes. If they cared about it they would allow it. If not it’s because those pushing this bill will make BILLIONS out the peoples expense.
I say vote NO on this bill unless they allow personal growing is added to this bill.
ANY bill that doesn’t contain this option they should not be allowed!
