Legislation allowing recreational marijuana sales in VA heads to Gov. Youngkin

Virginia lawmakers passed legislation Wednesday that if approved by Republican Gov. Glenn Youngkin would allow recreational retail sales of marijuana to begin next year.

    I can hardly wait to vote against Youngkin for his anti-marijuana agenda. He wants what he wants and nevermind what Virginians want. He needs to educate himself on the subject but I don’t expect that. He seems to prefer continuing to fill our jails while encouraging illegal sales.

    Rec was approved back in 2021 i thought and the retail dispensaries were supposed to be open this year? Not 2025..they keep pushing the date but atleast they can grow there own
