It grows naturally, shouldn’t be called a drug. It’s not made in a lab (though some strains could be).

Georgia is too uptight to fully legalize. Which is ironic since we could really benefit from it in so many ways.

Marijuana Kills … the Alcohol Industrial Complex. We can`t let that happen. The Bible explicitly forbids it. How would we drink Jesus` blood in church?

  9. @iamnotthisform on December 10, 2024 at 1:34 am

It’s about time, a bit overdue, but good nonetheless.
Ofcourse in Georgia, they’ll say "it’s not necessary but we’re STILL going to arrest ppl for it".

Schedule 3 is BS ! Everyone should call their US senators and encourage them to sign on to Senate bill CAOA that legalizes cannabis at the federal level ! Read the CAOA bill online and call your senators !

Sending anybody to jail for this medication has been one of America’s greatest crimes! Randolph Hearst didn’t want competition from hemp paper industry and used his newspapers to slander marijuana! That’s how it became illegal! Cuz Randy wanted to make more money!!

Its not a drug . Man makes drugs God made pot .its a plant that grows naturally all over our planet it was made illegal by rich industrial paper and pulp mills because it makes a better class of paper , cloth , bio fuel ,wood products and so much more easily renewable resource .

Ripple effects for sure. If this is inacted, it means more crime. It does more damage to families then alcohol. Alcohol just gets the blame.

About time. The laws against marijuana are insane.

  40. @ToastedTendies on December 10, 2024 at 2:08 am

"United" States of America but they all have different laws to punish you just doesn’t make sense, many states allow it for anyone while some throw you in jail and ruin your life over it . Get thy head out of thy ass / asses. Alcohol and cigarettes is way worse than some weed but that’s legal 🤤🤤

  41. @bf6159 on December 10, 2024 at 2:10 am

The only reason it was made illegal, is because it’s too useful and it’s products are capable of competing within several industries: Medicine, Textile, Adhesive, Bio Fuel, Fiber Optics, Plastics, Rope, Flour, Concrete… to name a few. As with many things in the United States, we’ve been lied to, stolen from, and punished so the Wealthy can make even more at the expense of We the People.

Also… willing to bet GA is more focused on revenue generated for the Courts via folks passing through the State. Every out of State pull over will focuse on drugs, regardless the reason they cite for being pulled over. They’ll make a comment to reflect they believe your’re being defensive, acting odd, talking funny, they smell something. Whatever they can use to assert justification to search the vehicle and the occupants. Most folks will not fight, they’ll simply pay the ticket. More than a million folks pass through and or visit GA annually.

  42. @jnicole2513 on December 10, 2024 at 2:10 am

It official I’m leaving the state of Georgia I can’t no more if they wanna be that behind keep it the state. Georgia doesn’t help minorities any way. Good job kemp at loosing taxpayers by the hundreds and thousands

  45. @kori_snw on December 10, 2024 at 2:17 am

In the 1930’s, the lumber and cotton industries realized that hemp could severely impact their level of income and successfully lobbied congress to classify marijuana as a schedule 1 drug so no one could even grow hemp. They also did it to persecute blacks and the poor.

  46. @jareda3106 on December 10, 2024 at 2:17 am

And now our "hemp thca" is gone now also WTF!!

  47. @ktloz2246 on December 10, 2024 at 2:18 am
