I started growing illegally, moved to a legal state and got a job on a farm. It would have taken me 10 years to learn what I’ve learned in 6 months. I still have SO much to learn, but I that’ll you for being the only “grow friends” I had during my humble beginnings

I used to do from seed but clones are so much easier.

  8. @lorenzolusca2011 on December 30, 2024 at 2:14 am

Well bottled nutrients you’re paying for water. Better off using high quality granules if your going synthetic or salt based. 👍

    P.s.
    Synthetic = McDonald’s
    Organics = Wagyu

In my detached garage hid lights are a benefit right now becuase my heater doesn’t have to run as much to keep it warm in there. When I’m only running my L.E.Ds my heater has to run almost non-stop to keep up the temp. I’m glad I have both hid and led.

Finding what works for you and keeping it simple

  13. @hateonskillz318 on December 30, 2024 at 2:24 am

Knowledge is key but experience is better. To start find a way or tech or whatever you find and try it if it works and you like it then try again and fine tune it. There too many products and people making content to go with just one. Many growers have tried a style or way and it didn’t work that’s why finding your own method woth the climate and what you have available. Getting your hands dirty and growing is the only way you’ll know what works or doesn’t. Can’t watch every single video on YouTube and think or say your an expert you have to have done it to knownig you got it. We all should have a greenthumb and grow things bit people get discouraged to do it again when they have bad results but guess what we all have had upd and downs shouldn’t fet discouraged should make you want to get stronger and try again if at first you don’t succeed you know the rest lol hope you get things working and if you have done it should try and help others I want to with what I know but who would listen not like I grew the plant in my profile picture lol I have no idea what I’m doing

  14. @Primal_Primat3 on December 30, 2024 at 2:25 am

Ive tried most growing methods and IMO its DWC for a multitude of reasons.

NO BIG BAGS OF SOIL TO GET HOME OR HAVE TO GET RID OF……………..I cant stress that enough lol
Easier than soil IMO, and you can configure it so its individual buckets that can be moved about just like a potted plant.
Bigger, better and faster growth than soil.
IF you get you setup right and big enough buckets of water, you can set it up so you only need to water once a week, i dare say with the right setup, you could do 2 weeks, which is ideal incase you go somewhere.

I struggle to think of any downside to DWC other than if you let the plants dry out and have no water they will go into shock and die alot easier than soil , but thats true with any hydro.

When I was using Fox farm liquid nutrients my weed was always harsh since I switched over to organic my weed is very smooth and not harsh at all

  18. @JonS671GU on December 30, 2024 at 2:33 am

Solid show boyz well im and outdoor grower and rancher and for the most part I just use what I can do not really choosy but yah peace out fellaz

  19. @Loooooooooooooooool on December 30, 2024 at 2:33 am

Started using organic amendments when I automated my watering. I save a lot of time by only needing to check once a week or so. I use a smart plug connected to a water pump, it takes about a minute or two of watering before I get run off. The runoff drains into a tray and siphons into a container outside of the tent. I use the runoff +recharge and LABs to make teas that get top dressed in at the end of the week.

I just got tired of spending so much time and energy hand watering. I think its super beneficial to be able to slowly water all of the plants simultaneously instead of just drenching them one at a time. Maybe I’m just impatient. I’m still refining the setup 3 years into growing.

  20. @jr0d843 on December 30, 2024 at 2:33 am

Soil and dr earth 2 tbsp per gallon

  21. @nikolasmaes99 on December 30, 2024 at 2:34 am

Bet they dropped the bottles by now.

  22. @Loki_Morningstar666 on December 30, 2024 at 2:35 am

Awesome episode. One of the things I love most about this plant is how many different grow styles there are. Lately I have been totally hooked on learning about organic gardening. I’m not at all a snob about it I just like that you are trying to closer replicate nature and that its more sustainable. It also seems like its a lot less work once you get into a groove with it.

  23. @patbhukkanasut7772 on December 30, 2024 at 2:36 am

I live in Bangkok, sun, humidity all year round, I see it as positive aspects for my grow, also we have a lot of cheap things for my organic grow. I decided not to use a tent (a green house soon)and try to find a system where I can utilize the outdoor positive aspects. I am moving the pot with the sun, then at night use the light on the grow balcony. I have an army of geckos that surround my plants and eat any pests that come close, even bees. Still on my first season, but it will be interesting to try to dial it in. This is fun learning from my YouTube teachers and try to apply the knowledge, do a lot of testing, trying and failing. I am grateful dudes.

  24. @doktorhunggari4415 on December 30, 2024 at 2:36 am

How many watts of power are you guys using per day in your gardens? Electric bill? 🙏🔑✌️

  25. @davidbryden7904 on December 30, 2024 at 2:36 am

There’s a "best" way?! Y’all been holding out on me? 🤔
    I gotta check this out!
Similarly, an episode on what strain(s) are best adapted to what environment. I recently moved from doing outdoor in SoCal to indoor in NorCal. Some of my strains (I brought 7 or 8) have adapted WAY better than others, and ALL have grown somewhat differently. Amazing what differences I’ve seen!

  26. @GerryRR on December 30, 2024 at 2:36 am

I don’t know what the best way is, but I know it uses an AC Infinity Cloudline T-series fan to control its environment lol. Been using AC Infinity fans since 2018, before they had the humidity controllers – but the humidity controller changed the game IMO. Before AC Infinity the recommended brands were like Vortex, Can Fan, Hydrofarm etc…now everyone recommends AC Infinity. They came out of nowhere and ate everybody’s lunch *and* improved all our grows at the same time lol

As for my grow style – Flood and drain, single bucket, large trained out plant, Mega Crop. Almost get bored with it late in flower when there’s nothing to do but change the res once a week lol.

  27. @Photosyntech on December 30, 2024 at 2:37 am

Hey hey… appreciate the shout out guys 😉 Also, have you heard about growing organic?

  28. @canopy_crawler1824 on December 30, 2024 at 2:39 am

second year growing ( yeah i overwatered like every dam cycle) then i swapped to earthboxes i dont refill til res is completely dry and bam. things aer going way better now that i got them (the square ones not the long ones).

  29. @mikehancho1613 on December 30, 2024 at 2:39 am

I want to try a run of deep water culture. That’s next on my list!

  30. @pizzamon795 on December 30, 2024 at 2:40 am

I’ve had some outdoor weed that tasted amazing

  31. @hoodpatrolstrains1010 on December 30, 2024 at 2:41 am

    Indoor. With steriods …😉 promise.
Everybodys got a way .its just dumb …they dont AERATE …. theyll put calmag overkill…or watch CANADIAN GROWERs lol, jokes, 🤣🤣…

  32. @waltwild2451 on December 30, 2024 at 2:41 am

Was wondering if when I grow I could put a jar of inoculated bird seed that I grow mushrooms with into the pot and let the myceleum feed the plant and vs versa or would the seeds cause some kind of issue for me that I’m not thinking of.??? Help if you guys can. .

  33. @Trrenik0kb on December 30, 2024 at 2:42 am

My style is keep em small and bushy and smelliest as possible. Ok depend of strain an genetics.

  34. @edsdead2277 on December 30, 2024 at 2:44 am

A dialled in Coco grow can match any DWC and is a lot less hassle to manage.

You gotta keep the ppm low, like 600-650 and water them every hour on the hour when the lights are on. Try it and you’ll be surprised.

  35. @Crawdaddy1420 on December 30, 2024 at 2:46 am

Nailed it. It’s sustainability & haven’t bought soil in years!

  36. @comfortablynumb9342 on December 30, 2024 at 2:48 am

For me the best way to grow is to buy Ocean Forest soil or something similar, put it in fabric pots and water in some seeds. I use Dr Earth’s mixed amendments, Flower Girl for flower stage and the veggie and tomato mixes if needed in veg. I’m using AC Infinity auto watering bases. It’s about as simple as possible and I grow some good ganja.

  37. @visible720 on December 30, 2024 at 2:49 am

I loved this video guys. I mean it’s just everyone on there own journey. I like watching people all over the place just for insight. Different ways. I learned alot from all of you guys myself. Can’t thank you enough either.

  38. @GsxRl-hd2gz on December 30, 2024 at 2:51 am

Pigeons won’t be smelling no dank now he in a tent,as long as you always creating negative pressure in there you be sweet, plus hell be getting different phenos and variables from seed as he in a different environment
Shout out to ROWS OF GREEN he just grown Dutch passions glueberry auto and they the biggest buds I’ve seen on an auto flower ever so we’ll done to him 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿💯

  39. @MrTommyg4 on December 30, 2024 at 2:53 am

DWC because my job wont allow a happy Coco garden. I like the simplicity of DWC. I start from seed in the Hydrobucket with a Q-plug and a small dome . AUTO’S love no transplant . I make clean buckets weekly to keep roots happy .

  40. @eXolusiatious on December 30, 2024 at 2:55 am

    Robs experience with DWC 20:28

  41. @K_Nasty on December 30, 2024 at 2:56 am

I used foxfarm and pro-mix forba long time. I always knew worm casting helped. Now I have 2 yo soil I made that is working just fine. Just keep adding goodies

Rob talk smack about GH and tell people not to use them but uses coco loco from fox farm who is owned by Scott’s who owns GH 🤔

  46. @FOURFTP on December 30, 2024 at 3:00 am

Just curious may sound dumb …. But I have a ac infinity inline. I set it on auto mode. kinda worry the fan might burn out cause it’s constantly turning the fan on and off trying keep the humidity steady I guess. Just wondering wouldn’t that burn out the in-line fan or cause some over heat/fire ….. Cause it’s constantly changing it’s fan speed. I’m new to all this

  47. @ryanrohauer5940 on December 30, 2024 at 3:01 am

Hahhhhhahahhah I literally do carry bags of soil up the stairs of my apt. Gotta do what ya gotta do homie 🤣

  48. @organnabisgrow on December 30, 2024 at 3:02 am

I mean the best way is obviously organic the way nature intented but most preferred way is subject to personal opinion. Great growers can get similar resulrs from their preferred methods. But the facts will always stand that Hydro and coco will always yield slightly more and grow faster, but soil will always taste slightly better and have more terpene expression.
