So i don’t have an ACTUAL pc, but I do have a lenovo NVIDIA AMD 7000 series laptop with a monitor connect to it, (I don’t know what all that means…) for christmas I got a 5tb WD_BLACK hard drive, I redownloaded about 95% of my games to it and my whole computer just all of a sudden lag spikes to the moon. (even on roblox) How do I fix that? I have been trying to get more ram, its titled "gaming laptop" WITH 8GB OF RAM. Is that what I need to upgrade?
I have a partition on my 512 gig SSD separating windows and the rest of my apps and games
I named my C: drive Le Windows
And my other drive Le UnWindows

i have a alienware x14 which came with 500gb, was too less. I decided to buy a 2tb ssd so i open up the back and what do you know, only one slot. Had to clone the ssd twice, failing both times, and just gave up on moving my stuff over so just started from new. Thanks Alienware
My D:/ drive is named Downloads and every Programm, Browser and the actual Windows Explorer path for downloads is even configured to this single of my 4 m2 ssds
I bought an external usb 3.0 WD Black 12TB 5 years ago and it still has 8.3TB of free space. Never had a problem with it. It contains only game folders. Nothing else.
I haven’t even moved from 500GB and now 2TB is becoming the norm???
