Talk about Sophie’s Choice: as a fan of The History, I smile, but the dream of relegation just got one step further away. Oh, fickle Everton, when wilst thou accept thy true and proper fate.

As a neutral I’ve gone from wondering if Everton will be relegated to wondering how far up the table they will finish

  21. @prodigylaunch5161 on January 21, 2025 at 3:50 am

Saw a clip of Moyes on the sideline. Had to do a double take. Sure enough, nice to see him back home. The Moyes Everton years were always an exciting match.

  26. @mogbaba on January 21, 2025 at 3:53 am

I thank Dyche for helping us in a difficult situation, but it seems he planned matches such that we, and especially DCL won’t score! His goal here is phenomenal!

  27. @JBackfield on January 21, 2025 at 3:55 am

    Was Illiman’s goal the best?

We actually played like a team! great performance but got to keep it going as we slackened off way too much in the 2nd half. COYFB

  30. @BandiMasha on January 21, 2025 at 3:59 am

    You won! Well done Everton.
I sincerely hope you stay up and Moyes removes Pickfords’ rush of blood to his head. Both of Tottenham goals were down to him

  33. @samueljweston on January 21, 2025 at 4:04 am

We have a grown up in charge for the first time since Carlo. Thank you David Moyes. We won’t win every week but I’ve seen enough to suggest a different way of playing. The first half was superb. What a player we have in Ndiaye.

All my friends told me Spurs would win this game easy but I had a cheeky Stake punt on Everton and you guys delivered 😁 Moyes is already doing a great job with this team and that first goal was insane, reminded me of prime Zlatan.
