The product has been hitting headlines lately as Canada prepares for nationwide legalization in October and alcohol companies brace themselves for major competition from the recreational drug. Now, the largest alcohol company in the world, Diageo Plc, is following in the footsteps of their competitors as they pursue a deal with a Canadian cannabis firm.
