This industry has been taken around back and shot, left for dead, whatever metaphor you want for a terrible performing industry.
Go through some of the biggest names and look at their price charts.

Would be interesting to know why they are so profitable without any scalability compared to the others. Why is the rest struggling while they make 5m? And no debt basically. That does seem like a sort of moat to me.
High Tide mate. It’s the only differentiated cannabis model out there. They run a Costco-like discount club, have E-commerce dominance, vertically integrated accessories brands (production & sales) garnering a 3M-customer database in the U.S. alone and powering their discounting capacity, self-serving kiosks, and a bunch of other differentiators (I hesitate to call moats).
What is the S tier? I assume A is strongest, followed by B,C,D… But S? I don’t understand. Super Dooper companies?
