This will be a weekly series starting Jan 19th through Feb 9th. Womxn across different areas of the industries will be sharing their diverse perspectives with the future leaders of the cannabis industry!

The industry is rife with disproportionate leadership and representation that favors men.

According to a 2019 MJ Biz Daily survey, within the legal cannabis industry, women comprise only 37% of company senior-level jobs.

Over 74% of surveyed companies by Vangst had 10 or fewer female employees and a little more than 12 percent of 166 companies surveyed had no females occupying Director of Executive positions.

As one of the largest expanding industries in the US, the cannabis industry has ample room for improvement to incorporate our womxn leaders
