In Canada, we’ve had legal weed since October, 2018. People can buy it in stores and grow 4 plants at home. No crime rise as a result of this change (just car criminals and immigrant crime issues). At least the gov’t gets the money instead of cartels; maybe they will establish more safe injection sites and rehabs for those those who want off hard drugs with the new revenue.

Honestly I think its good- in my home city we have issues with people smoking EVERYWHERE and some people cant hold their sh*t… High school kids are literally standing near buildings where people smoke at their front doors, just to get secondhand highs. Parents are taking their kids with them to get high at cafés. At least this will make people a little more wary of how weed actually affects society.
Can we please change it so the insurers treated like a terrible drug. Like the legalisation is a bit pointless when most medicinal cannabis users rely on the black market still
