Make things competitive. Put 100 bag seeds into a pot and let them all germinate. After a week, remove half of the shortest/weakest ones. Keep narrowing it down. The strongest survive. Who’s roots can push the others out of the way…etc. (Not saying it’s the best idea. But it worked for me.)

There is a chemical to reverse a male into female and it will make female flower. It’s like St’s or cs but the opposite I forget what it’s called.

Or you could just use coliadal silver on select females to induce hermaphrodite expressions in the area you used the silver on. This way you know what both parent plants are capable of. Unless you want to spend years finding every male pheno in combo with female. That could take years. Breeding female to female is much quicker with a much higher success rate finding prize cultivars. All the big guys are doing this and then tissue sampling into 10k plants overnight.
Hello guys, a friend of mine got 3 seeds of a strain left that does Not exist to sell anymore. Its been from a good breeder but their regular. How can we Save it the best way? Self the better female if 2 will appear? Or should we just cross 2 of those? I guess Not selecting feels like losing quality anyway :/

I have a "panjshir kush" male witch had some funky leafes but grew out of it (like a snake tounge)…Would you care about that?
Stem smell is insane, great strong fruity smell!
I topoed it late and now this plant has a huge hole in the Stem down into the plant 😮
But you need a cut if you like to do real breeding so for me hollow stem is not that cool because of high stress training and cloning this is a bad thing or would you disagree with that?

So take a male cross it with your favorite hoe. Now there a bunch of seeds pop them and pick the best lady’s of the bunch that have great traits. Now that original male flower it again make pollen pollinate those girls to double up the original male genetics. Now you got seeds again and you pop them and those ones you find the best ones you can resesive and desirable and cross it with a male from that stock now at the end of all that should there be good stalk to work with.
What about males that show flowers early? Like in the 6-8 week mark in veg? Would these be considered undesirable?

I have always chose my males for breeding, first by looking for the ones who show best vigour and smell I like then second I will dry their flowers and smoke the flowers, one hit on a pipe. The one that hits me the hardest is the male I choose for breeding.
