Well then they need to outlaw alcohol because alcohol is way worse than marijuana when driving and anything else.. I smoke marijuana back in the ’80s and ’90s and I was never too high to remember what I did but several times have I been drunk and not remember nothing, Total blackout.. never with marijuana have I had a blackout.. Never

So stupid. Three years? We’re lucky the government of Virginia didn’t lead us in wwII or we’d all be speaking Germany. And this BS about the children will get marijuana.. I guarantee you that any 13 year old, who wants it, knows just where to go for weed, and that is today with it being illegal. So legal stores with tested weed and checking licenses are no threat to the children. If you think so then get rid of all alcohol. What a buncha anslingers.

I think people need to quit reaching and I just became a little sad that I’m a republican since that’s the way they want to be. Nobody’s going to go get a bag of weed and go drive around stoned and chance getting in trouble they’re going to get something to eat go home or go home and eat while they’re there. Plus that sorry ass excuse of making it readily available guess what it’s everywhere it’s just not good quality that can be trusted so the fact they’re putting quality product in the hands of people speaks volumes.. but hey any politician that wants to argue this whole marijuana thing I’d love to but I want to do so on a live stream or in a public event where everyone can see how unknowledgeable they are and how full of shit they are. They have no idea what they’re talking about they just read or hear

  9. @LolaCrazy2221 on April 28, 2025 at 10:09 am

So if marijuana is made legal here in Virginia it won’t be in affect till 2024. The year you know who will get reelected if he runs for president again in 2024. I’ll vote for him again! Very intresting!

  10. @CrayLuv on April 28, 2025 at 10:12 am

wrong about Virginia, the legalization wouldnt go into affect until 2024 and also it would have to be voted on again next year and passed again and still wouldnt be legal till 2024 and also each city in Virginia can vote to make it legal in a city by city basis and also on to of the twenty some percent tax there will also be a 3 percent tax that goes to the city and the rules and regulations will be unbelievably massive.

From what I have seen underage kids already have no problem getting marijuana. So prohibition has not stopped that. We have already failed at keeping kids from smoking marijuana. But these kids struggle to get alcohol. Thats because there is no black market for alcohol. And marijuana laws have been used to drag people through the justice system and essentially blackball them in society. This does not help the situation it makes it worse. It is time for legalization.

  20. @ojmcclanahan689 on April 28, 2025 at 10:29 am

Retailers can only sell one ounce or less? So if one customer comes in and buys an ounce, they can’t sell anymore to anyone else that day? The verbiage in this new law is so confusing. Leaving it to a Southern state to legalize marijuana in the most convoluted and backwards way possible.
