    You can use that knife for criscross fries/chips, you can give veggies in soups ams other dishes that bit if jois des vie.

    I think it has to do with moisture and adherence. Sharp cheeses produce a lot of oil when cooked and the uneven surface of the crinkle cut pickle will let it stick to the cheese instead of sliding off the oil.

    If you rotate the pickle after each slice you can make waffle shaped pickles. Also you can use that with pretty much any vegtable.
