Some of the people that are against this I don’t understand like the guy who talked about children. Alcohol which is much more harmful is used now in front of infants and toddlers. Does he say anything about alcohol? Of course he doesn’t. That is why I take no politicians seriously that is against anything like this.
I don’t see how anybody can be against 820. I know that there’s a group out there claiming about the poisoning of children. But let’s be real, Oklahoma is a constitutional carry state for firearm. So you’re telling me that these groups believe that something that has never shown a correlation to death for anybody at any age, is more dangerous than the firearms that everybody’s allowed to carry wherever they go. It is the parents job to put away their medication and it is a parent’s job to keep and educate their kids. They use the word poison but really it’s just your kid is stoned beyond the point of their comprehension at their little age. Put your pot up just like you put all your medication up just like you put your firearms away from kids reach. Let’s stay with common sense lawmaking and get away from the demonizing of something that has no deadly properties known at this point and it is a product has been used for over five thousand years.
1:44Yeah if bad parents don’t watch there kids and where they put there drugs kids can ingest anything thats in there area. They makes med and guns safes for a reason.
As for the police how long a have they been arresting ppl for for it pretty sure they know how to do what there told if there under 21 they get a ticket etc would be same thing if you catch a minor with alcohol do that but change the title of the fine around to cannabis.
Legalise cannabis in the UK.
Okie just cost themselves big, Texas is making up to 2 ounces as a fine. Billions would have been spent there.
VOTE NO ON 820
❤
Oklahoma is in a losing battle with the black market. Might as well just make it completely legal.
Dear Oklahoma, Hold this L for not passing it bruh
It’s in the same conversation as a new pub opening in Oklahoma City in my opinion? At least it isn’t Afghan heroin!

Look where the taxes go, Ill be voting NO
Congratulations Oklahoma you know can smoke marijuana, and that states gonna make a lot of money
Two votes for yes on 820 here and a yard sign out front for the same. People have been doing that since before the 50’s??? Or before?? I mean if you’ve ever been to a concert you know that. Which tells you a lot about politicians huh? I mean Willie Nelson smoked weed in the Whitehouse, God know’s what’s been done up there.
Failed ! $#@&+&_$#&+
Sadly from what i heard it didn’t pass.
DO NOT CHANGE OUR CURRENT LAWS
IT IS A PLOY TO TAKE AWAY THE FREEDOMS 788 ENACTED
We had enough boomers die off this past year to legalize it here in Missouri. You’ll get there eventually.
Perhaps im callous. But I’m real sick of the "think of the children!" Argument. Maybe rather than dictating how adults live their lives we should put the onus on parents to take care of their own kids.
3 months is moronic.
when would this take effect when this passes? ive looked for 30 mins and cant find this one answer i want
Alcohol does that by itself, Cannabis is a mild sedative, it is harmless compared to cigarettes and alcohol .
Vote no on 820 this state is already a dump there’s no point
Long overdue!! Oklahoma is so far behind
