San Joaquin County set to vote on whether to tax recreational pot
San Joaquin County is preparing for a vote in November on whether to tax recreational marijuana, which could generate $3 million a year. If approved, half of the proceeds will go towards enforcement of the rules and the other half will go towards programs for children, such as child literacy and gang prevention.
