An interesting side effect of the legalization is that its now really easy to get medical weed because now the regulations for that have lowered aswell, and now it can be prescripted like ibuprofen 600 from your doctor.

It still feels really weird to light up a joint in public without the fear of being caught. However, you’re not allowed to smoke everywhere. Look up "Bubatzkarte" and you’ll get an idea where you can smoke.
Also, still don’t tell the cops where you got your weed from since there aren’t any legal sources yet. Just refuse to make any statements on that and you’re gonna be fine. Germany’s model is completely different from that of the Netherlands. You need to join a club to "purchase" weed.
