@Deb-i6zon August 31, 2025 at 3:42 pm
Is it ash mulch?

I donāt want to cover my weed in dirt itās gonna make it so itās hard to smoke
@Raynestorm1968on August 31, 2025 at 3:48 pm
All that did was give the weeds more dirt to embed their roots into…….
@jamee_mareeon August 31, 2025 at 3:49 pm
I wish I could do that but no way I can afford enough mulch.

One thing I notice is that, when there are lots of weeds in the garden, there’s no pests on my vegetables! There are vegetables seedlings in the soil full of weeds and all seedlings are super healthy, no pests!
I realize that too late and remove all of them hehe. Next time I plan to keep some of them near my veggies.

Iāve seen weeds crack and break through thicker clay brick. Sshheeeetttā¦bamboo is strong enough to grow through a human torso. Even an absurdly obese torso

It doesnāt say it but the mulch has to be 6ā to 8ā thick to kill out the weeds. Thatās a lot of fucking mulch. š
@jakelamotta2387on August 31, 2025 at 4:11 pm
All you did was help the weeds grow thicker. You need to cover the weed in mulch to kill it, not surround itš¤¦š½āāļø

Sot of….cardboard or newspaper under the mulch helps. We have Creeping Buttercup and other weeds that quickly make their way through a thin layer like that.

Hopefully that helps them grow separately
