Outdoor Marijuana Water & Feeding Secrets (Candyland Pt 3)

When it comes to outdoor marijuana growing, your watering & feeding schedule is critically important. BigMike and the guys from Ken Estes’ Grand Daddy Farms break it all down for you in this segment covering:

* What PPM they use from day 1 for watering marijuana

* The exact feeding & watering schedule they use (it’s a 3-day cycle you’ll want to pay close attention to)

* How to avoid over watering marijuana plants with something called “dry days” (ignoring this is a common rookie mistake!)

* How they decide to stop pinching

* The exact method they use to determine when to increase PPM while watering (and how much water they use from the time they plant all the way to harvest)

* Why Advanced Nutrients help you avoid marijuana iron deficiency, nitrogen deficiency, potassium deficiency, and more.

* The dead simple formula that tells you EXACTLY how much water to use based on the size pots you’re growing in.

It’s pretty simple to understand that feeding and watering are absolutely CRITICAL to growing outdoor plants from seed to harvest. This video will give you a crash-course in everything you need to know. Subscribe to our channel now to make sure you don’t miss the last video in this series, part 4!

Way too much feeding, I’ve had outdoor plants yield huge with just some phosphorus and bone meal and worm castings mixed in the soil before planting 1 foot plants in the early spring, by oct 6 feet yielding pounds.

Definitely a well balanced system that it takes to make em that nice. Iron phosphate 1-2% is most snail bait repellent so I use that and a cal mag solution on top of organic and synthetic sources of nutrients so that any and all nutrients are available at any given time. Lastly sun is everything so that’s the dialing factor. More sun, more water. More water can handle a bit more nutrients. And so on… all a balance

Thats alot water most of the time in Ontario we struggle using liquid feeders because it’s so wet threw out the year we add alot to the soil to help feed it threw the year biggest challenges are usually drying the soil out or flushing at end of the year the flushing is rushed during outdoor season cause people wanna avoid bud rot and cut early

  27. @erikdoering2920 on September 14, 2025 at 4:37 pm

praise the pot gods these boy stonershipping

  28. @shaneletson on September 14, 2025 at 4:37 pm

The key to growing a healthy garden of cannabis starts with a feeding chart usually a calendar works great a good farmer rights down things for a better crop the next year I grow them 12 foot tall too

What is ppm and how you control it?

  46. @Hizenbird on September 14, 2025 at 4:49 pm

Interesting, I watched some other video that says follow the water, water, feed, water, water, feed cycle. You guys are opposite. Guess I’ll have to test which is better. After this grow season can you plant new plants in the same pot or do you have to remove the soil and start over with new soil. That can get expensive, no?

  47. @F4Insight-uq6nt on September 14, 2025 at 4:50 pm

There is no point in adding any Perlite to Coco Coir.

  48. @allanhope7743 on September 14, 2025 at 4:53 pm
