Zambia needs to focus on constructive economic enterprises. Seeing the massive problem with alcohol abuse…. it would be a bad idea to add to that problem with pot. The radical increase in sports betting is another bad idea. Gambling, smoking, booze, and drugs ALL increase poverty. Is that what we want? Sure the guys selling these make money – very true – BUT they do so at the expense of the lives and futures of their fellow men. I watch so many young men now gambling away their hard earned money at these new betting establishments – wasting their money chasing after instant wealth… it is sad. Does anyone think legal pot will make our nation a better place?!? They will cry "the economy, the economy will grow" – Yes, a few people will make money – just like a few people make money selling booze…. But there will be 1000’s high and drunk on the streets…. Next time you are in a group of 20-30 people ask them all this question, "How many of your know a person who has lost their job due to being drunk" – You will be shocked at the number of hands that go up. Legal pot will just increase this problem.

Excellent video, I find this topic very interesting. The Zambian people must take control of the situation, get involved with policy before the big corporations come in and push small farmers and everyone out. I look forward to your future videos regarding this issue. Best wishes

I believe recreational marijuana should be legalized… with the help of age restrictions of course.
Considering the fact that it is literally less harmful than alcohol and the fact that you can not overdose on the drug (no matter how much you smoke and or ingest, i can link a video on the matter if you’re interested) it seems pretty safe… Research on the effects of the psychoactive ailments/triggers of the plant has been conducted and of course ‘bad trips’ have been recorded but it is still proving to be a much safer alternative for ‘highs’ and what not.
Overall, Marijuana has so many benefits; honestly it could change Zambia for the better in a way. Especially ECONOMICALLY, the amount of money our country would make exporting this stuff, like wow, it could(would?) really help us a lot as a country.
As for teens and the abuse of the plant, that is my only block. I’m pretty sure there are ways the legislation or whatever can help control the use…. cause as much as you apparently cannot get addicted to the drug, it depends on ones mentality towards it. Too much of anything is bad and can lead to addiction so i….well….yeah
That’s as far as my brain goes on this topic
Edit: you just earned yourself a new sub! I really enjoyed it.
As a small zambian youtuber myself(not on this channel I’m using tho, it’s just a decoy) I’m proud to see a fellow thrive and actually produce interesting content👏👏
