Description:
Among the current hot planning law topics in California that could have national implications are the local regulation of cannabis and the introduction of fast-track housing legislation. Hear from two of the top experts in these fields, get your questions answered, and earn some Law CM credits in the process. Robert Selna, a partner with Wendel Rosen Attorneys in Oakland, will talk about the role of local jurisdictions in legalized California Cannabis. Amara Morrison, also an attorney with Wendel Rosen, will speak about California’s Senate Bill 35 and other Streamlining Statutes that have been put in place to remove impediments and increase production of housing. This session was presented in person at the Wendel Rosen Conference Center in Oakland, California in February 2019 and is being recreated and provided through the webcast series for those who were unable to make the in-person training.
