Waiting on Rescheduling: Pressure Mounts on Cannabis Stocks I TTB Powered by Dutchie

Two headlines in Washington are driving the conversation around cannabis and hemp. A GOP-led congressional committee voted to block President Trump from moving forward with cannabis rescheduling. At the same time, Senator John Boozman said that if a strict federal hemp THC ban is enacted, “nobody will buy” those products. Both developments highlight how divided lawmakers remain on cannabis and hemp policy.

This episode of the TDR Trade to Black Podcast with host Shadd Dales and Anthony Varrell looks at what these moves mean for the industry and investors. We’re also joined by Dan from The Chart Guys, who will help break down a volatile week for cannabis stocks. Support levels have been tested, and with policy headlines driving much of the action, the big question is what comes next.

In the meantime, I’ve been taking advantage of some of the best share prices we’ve possibly ever seen—both in public listings and over‐the‐counter. I believe we are coming out of the ‘dip,’ and I expect that a major shift will happen by the end of the year. All the government clerical/administrative pieces seem to be falling into place unless legally challenge.

  10. @jtmartin8445 on October 3, 2025 at 5:13 pm

They need to hurry the fuck up and completely de schedule cannabis period. Outlaw urine tests and hair tests for THC if a drunk can work and drink every day why can’t a pot head smoke every day and still have a job in my state I am a legal user and can’t get a good job because of drug tests. It’s so fucking stupid.

  11. @charlesmyers9765 on October 3, 2025 at 5:17 pm

Remove the THC limit altogether since it was pulled out of thin air. Limiting the intoxicating effect makes all of this moot.

  12. @sylviaazzaro405 on October 3, 2025 at 5:21 pm

Was shocked about the article in Cannabis business times where house GOP tries to block Trump his executive power including S3 😳😳😳

  13. @PumpkinHalloweed88 on October 3, 2025 at 5:21 pm

  21. @sylviaazzaro405 on October 3, 2025 at 5:35 pm

Same as in the news where vapes are sold with TRC but in real it’s synthetic TRC equal to heroine! Total shit! That harms the MJ industry and that shit from Cuba should be banned all in the world!!

After the nationwide survey that came out 68% approved the legalization they should’ve descheduled it 1 week after
It’s because people voice ain’t matter in this country

  29. @Taydagod-o7i on October 3, 2025 at 5:47 pm

It’s sad to say my only option is the illegal market. It would be nice to walk in to a legal cannabis dispensary than to a shady street pharmacist / dealer having to worry about getting robbed or getting something lashed with something didn’t order.

  30. @CelluloidPoisoning on October 3, 2025 at 5:47 pm

simple, ANYTHING INTOXICATING IS TO BE SOLD IN A DISPENSARY. HEMP OR CANNABIS
