I say this as a conservative red voter, this plant needs to be fully legalized. Our politicians do not understand that the delta 8 synthetics and loopholed THC like thca and such aren’t what the consumers want. We want the natural plant. The fact prohibition has gone this long is idiotic. I understand the politicians don’t want to give up that pharma check but it might be time to become single issue voters on this. They can’t get that pharma check if they aren’t in office.

0.30% ∆9THC products simply aren’t medicinal. What you’re getting high on is, in reality, turpentine, an intoxicant historically used by starving painters.

Now search Operation Flicker, proud "tax" paying Pathica. X’-D [Malum In Se/Malum Prohibitum]

Nothing moral requires authority. Authority is the claim to the exclusive exemption to morality. It is a monopoly on violence. Violence is a violation because it is the initiation of aggression, not self-defense. Offense/defense are ontologically distinct. All crime has a legal equivalent (ie, taxation is extortion).

You are legally compelled via the logical fallacies Ad Antiquitatem, Ad Baculum and Ad Verecundiam to pay for protection that they are not legally obligated to provide. That’s a mafia.

Ritualistic classifying surgery as a means of psychic castration, like circumcision and sub-incision, are hallmarks of patriarchal culture, a demonstration to the young that the venerable old ones still wield the all-powerful knife – and the beginning of transsexualism. Those who do not perform the cult’s rite can never enjoy full social status.

Symbols of the castrated member, the tie and bow-tie, are mandatory accoutrements of the political wardrobe and phallic monuments are erected to commemorate the minds conquered long ago. Brute force is no longer necessary.

"Everything is metamorphosed into its opposite to perpetuate itself in its expurgated form. All the powers, all the institutions speak of themselves through denial, in order to attempt, by simulating death, to escape their real death throes. […] For example: it would be interesting to see whether the repressive apparatus would not react more violently to a simulated holdup than to a real holdup. Because the latter does nothing but disturb the order of things, the right to property, whereas the former attacks the reality principle itself." – Jean Baudrillard (Simulacra & Simulation – 1981)

"Our rulers, who rule our symbols, and so rule a symbolic class of life, impose their own infantilism on our instituitions, educational methods, and doctrines. This leads to maladjustment of the incoming generations which, being born into, are forced to develop under the un-natural (for man) semantic conditions imposed on them. In turn, they produce leaders afflicted with the old animalistic limitations. The vicious circle is completed; it results in a general state of human un-sanity, reflected again in our instituitions. And so it goes, on and on." – Alfred Korzybski (Science and Sanity: An Introduction to Non-Aristotelian Systems and General Semantics – 1933)

"Leadership in government is political power, and political power is an official form of antagonizing the people. Politics are rules imposed upon the people. They have every man in a straight jacket and without a passport he cannot move a toe. In a free world, they violate the natural rights of every citizen. 7. @mesmartgnome on October 7, 2025 at 5:00 pm

Texas needs to grow up and realize the money that comes with legalizing Marijuana. Less prisoners to pay for, tax revenue like you wouldn’t believe, cartels lose a product that is HIGHLY profitable, and just make people better off all the way around. Why is Texas stuck in the 50’s?

  8. @Riguintantrix on October 7, 2025 at 5:00 pm

More that the moral issue here , for me is really easy. Since when is the goverment our parents?
    aren’t we rational adults?

republicans think they’re going to gain votes by legalizing ditch weed🤣 this is why my state watches millions in cash leave it’s bottom of the barrel economy and go to MO, IL and MN

  11. @eyeonart6865 on October 7, 2025 at 5:01 pm

No. They can still sell Hemp. CBD. Not THC it is still illegal.

  12. @sacredcowslayer2090 on October 7, 2025 at 5:03 pm

Should be zero laws against any cannabis—just labeling requirements and bans on chemicals being sprayed on the product. Big pHarma is worried that people are waking up to the fact that their allopathic drugs are total crap.

  14. @jorusc6358 on October 7, 2025 at 5:08 pm

Every "stop and rob" (small corner stores) are notorious for not complying. Just ask a TABC agent where he gets the most fines for cigarette and alcohol, under aged sales. The law should restrict all smokable products to be sold at dispensaries only. Ditto with edibles.

  15. @anthonynichogi7266 on October 7, 2025 at 5:08 pm

    About dang time 🙏

  16. @CliffemAll72 on October 7, 2025 at 5:09 pm

Given the issues we’ve had with cartels and drug dealers here in TX, legalization is just another way to combat these creeps while also bringing in revenue for the state. Dan Patrick is an ignorant, misinformed boy scout that does not see the potential harm his archaic ways of thinking will bring. It’s 2025 y’all, if the war on drugs didn’t work in the 80s do you really think it’s going to work now?

  17. @Zer0fuks on October 7, 2025 at 5:10 pm

I don’t smoke as I don’t like anything that messes with my head, alcohol included. Texas better get on the ball with pot and get ahead of the game before it’s too late. Once it gets sorted at the federal level, and it’s only a matter of time, Big Banking can get involved. Once international finance and the US banking system steps in, Big Pot will explode bigger than anything we’ve ever seen. Some say it will be bigger than the Dutch East Indies company in the 16-1700’s. Texas is gonna miss this if we don’t get ahead and the industry/distribution in place soon.

  20. @whateyecansee on October 7, 2025 at 5:15 pm

The ban on Hemp/THC is to keep it from replacing EVERYTHING from paper, fuel, cotton, pharmaceuticals, and hundreds more…

  21. @HaiTran-fi1uc on October 7, 2025 at 5:16 pm

but its still not real herb though, all the stuff that makes it great is removed from it, lets really make it legal this time, and stop playing games with our tax payer money to justify your existence.

  24. @DOSEDKID on October 7, 2025 at 5:16 pm

Hmmm there’s the fine print. .3% max THC content. Borderline not even selling anything at that rate. And please explain how the officers pulling me over will confirm my weed is .3% or 23% THC? Oh yeah they can’t on the side of the road.

  25. @timwachter1100 on October 7, 2025 at 5:17 pm

Full scale legalization would pull the country out of recession…just saying.
    War isn’t the only way.

  26. @adrianspikes6454 on October 7, 2025 at 5:18 pm

    😂😂😂😂😂
That’s been the law…we just can’t find any with that low THC level. We need laws that allow a threshold of THC compared to CBD, i.e. 15% CBD and 10% THC like other states. Much better strains out there than the BS these companies are selling

I’m sure the government wants you high for your benefit only. They never hide their true agenda. I wonder if more men smoking weed creates a more docile apathetic population that’s easier to control. I’m sure people are just as willing to stand up to tyranny while high on edibles as they are sober. Weed has zero downsides expect for the munchies according to popular culture.
