what should be done is the price of the license. first off the only way to grow for the state is to have already have a hemp license prior. then apply to grow thc cannabis so you can grow. what they said is they are trying to give opportunities to people or communities who where effected the most. these places cant afford a $210,000 license to be able to grow and on top have another at least 20,000 for land and another 10,000 for supplies to run it. what they need to do is allow anyone to be able to grow and get a license for a small fee like $50 application and $300 license if chosen. this will allow many small farms and offer a more wider area farms are spread to supply local stores in there area rather than 20 huge farms throughout the state that get to keep all the profits to themselves. its typical ny or anywhere to have only the rich to become richer. this finally gives the opportunity to give low income people like where crime is committed to get together and help build a community so this crime stops and the money is brought back to those communities to better them. at the moment the very very few farms that are legally growing will probably be helping no community only making their pockets deeper, the only change will be we can finally buy it at some point.
