Pal talk 😂talk two MINE S hell yes 😂
Why woukd you put a 400w LED _further_ away than a 600W LED???
that makes zero sense.
I want mine to stretch.
Everything I grow is from clones.
I take my clones at about 6 ".
I use aero cloners. In 5 days I start seeing roots. In 10 days they ALL have roots.
I keep them in the cloners for 17 days to establish a strong root system.
I grow with aero also.
So when the 6" clones are ready I transfer them into one of my aero systems straight into 12/12.
No veg time.
Actually what I do is use the first 2 week stretch in 12/12
as my veg time.
In that 2 weeks the clones get 2 to 3 feet tall depending on the strain.
And believe it or not.
For some reason they all stack pretty tight.
This saves me a huge amount of time and money.
I have a 400w LED – How much % of light in what stage of grow is requested by the plant?
Some plants just stretch no matter what
I have one AUTO flower and a feminized that I planted both of them about five weeks ago. I’m growing just for personal use or at least I’m trying to both of them are tall with very few leaves. I just got a new light set up. How do I proceed from here to keep from losing them they are about a foot and a half tall. I started them indoors with just a bulb which I realize now was a big mistake so I moved them outdoors in the sun for the past week until I could get a new light. They have done fine, just not bushy. I now have them set up with a good light in a good place. Would you recommend bending of the mainstem on the AUTO flower and then topping maybe on the feminized? That may sound really ignorant, but I don’t know and I can’t find an answer. Anybody that can tell me please thank you.
So if I’m growing out doors do I put it on the roof?
We have LED’s now and that means we can communicate with our plants and tell them how to behave. Blue light for instance is used for signaling and can be used to force the plant to stop stretching within 2 days. There are blue light receptors within the bark of the stems and when these receptors get only a small amount of blue light the plant will stop the stretch immediately. Use the same technique in veg and the nodes will stack on each other with almost no space in between. Far-red has also signaling abilities and tells your plant whether it is alone or has neighbors with whom it has to compete for light. Far-red increases the stretch but also synchronizes photosynthesis systems 1 and 2 for better efficiency (Emerson effect). To test it I recommend to use these small 12v 5630 LED modules with 3 diodes and 1,5w each, available in blue, red, white and other colors. They are dirt cheap and do not cause burnings when placed directly around the stem. I simply hang a few modules in the branches and turn them so that they shine on the trunk. I once created a plant with 14 nodes at a trunk that was not even 6" high only by adding blue 1,5w modules in veg. Unfortunately I cant upload pictures but you can find her in an older thread on roll-it-up grow forum..
thank thank we learn lots ❤

Rule #1 of indoor gardening
Yes I know this it’s not just specific to cannabis plants it’s all plants but all plants are different when it comes to how much light they need. Some plants can’t tolerate as much light as other plants whereas cannabis can tolerate an insane amount of light relative to other plants size pepper plants can’t tolerate half as much light probably somewhere around a third or a quarter as much light is required to make plants grow big and strong.
Some plants are going to stretch regardless of light and temp. For instance my sticky goo is a sativa dominant hybrid thats f3 genetics. If grown indoors you have to use (sog) and no veg if you dont have the space
I,m IN L😃VE💚🪜🪜🪜🪜👈😛
Like 10 years ago i grew with the spirally cfls. I just made sure i had about 10,000 lumens and kept the lights atleast a few inches away. Turned out great
Finding the sweet spot where they don’t stretch as much but it’s not too much light for the plant is very difficult
With 300 w at 20-30 cm?
My spiderfsrmer g3000 say’s
"Hang at 8-12 inch"
Thats not entirely true. By increasig the light you increase growth rate and that leads to more stretch in the first 3 weeks but Its generally true that they stretch more when the lightintensity is too low. So what really need to do to prevent stretch is "just enough" light and also "not too much". 500umol is too low and 1000umol is too high (for the first 3 weeks). Just enough is 750umols. Also if your plants are densely placed and no light reaches the bottom during the first 3 weeks already, then subcanopy lighting does help preventing stretch. So for example you start with 750umol from the top, once they grow up denser reduce top light to 500umol and introduce 250umol subcanopy lighting. Then when the stretch is over put the top light to 1000umols and the subcanopy lighting to 500umols. You never had such a high yield of A grade buds and the height of the plants is minimal the same time. Check it out.

Check out my short of my grow! Tell me what do you think of the progress.😀🌱
Been trying to give a little more light than I usually do and it’s been going well so far
Cold temps when the light is off will stretch them out also.
Yip coming up😂
Dry hits are the best
Less stretch = less growth. Less growth = less roots. Less roots = less fruits.
You’d be better off allowing the plants to stretch but managing it better with the area you have.
😮 WOW I didn’t know that good to know that 🤯 smoke weed everyday 💨
Best 🎉shi*
Awesome video thank you very much
Thanks 👍❤
My plants are 6.74 ft because of a damage on the stem during the first season of growth so hormones get into the wounds making the same stretching, the only difference is big buds.
From central América very well tour tips hace 25 yesrs old use cannabis
I don’t normally Blaze doobies I use my volcano vaporizer all the time so while you’re doing this I’m smoking out of my volcano by storz Bickle
This is complete garbage. Tips from a pro: Never go off light distance , always hit a ppfd meter to measure the exact amount of light your canopy is getting.
Mine grows like a fucking hedgehog if that makes sense to anyone
